## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this sight adjust for windage or just elevation?**
A: With A2 sights you're *supposed* to zero the front post for elevation. The vertical adjustment on an A2 rear is to adjust your aim at ranges specified on the range dial...  however: the range increments are designed around specific bullet weights and specific barrel lengths. If your firearm doesn't match what the A2 rear was designed around then the range dial won't work as designed... If you never plan on shooting past ~150 yards the range dial doesn't really matter... but it can still go up and down ;)

Long story short: it's not supposed to be used for elevation, but you can totally use it for elevation if you don't care about having preset range adjustments (which aren't really necessary unless you're doing mid-long range shooting with irons). Go ahead, adjust that rear, it'll be fine.

**Q: What front sight do I need with this? It would be mounted at the end of my hand guard.**
A: I would assume any standard AR-15 sight whether it be fixed or flip up. My front sight is the Fixed A2 front sight post and this rear sight lines up perfectly. I would guess Ozark Armament has a front sight. I would guess Magpul or any other brand should be ok too. This is my 3rd build (4th soon) and so far I have tried different brand sights with no issues. I hope I this helps.

**Q: Any chance it will fit a Weaver mount, 11mm or 22mm dovetails?**
A: Nancy,  It may fit the weaver mount depending on the reliefs cut in the rail.  It will not fit dovetail directly but may fit with adapters.If you need specific advice just send us a message and we'll be happy to help.Thanks

**Q: Am i able to remove sight components and place on carry handle stripped upper reciver?**
A: You could use these parts in an A2 upper receiver, but they won't exactly be correct.  The range adjustment on a sight with the wheel marked 6/3 is calibrated for an M4 with a 16" barrel.  The M16A2 with a 20" barrel needs a sight with an 8/3 wheel.  If you aren't going to use the range adjustment, it will work properly at whatever range you sight it in.
