I prefer Oracal vinyl over Cricut, for sure. The only thing I don't like about Oracal is the thick backing paper. It makes releasing the vinyl onto the transfer tape or project a little harder. I find if I run the vinyl over the edge of my table, in both directions, that it helps break up the fibers in the backing paper so it's not so stiff. I'll put up with it, though, because I like the Oracal brand best. They have great color choices, too!I love the cobalt blue color--it's so pretty! I used it on projects for the 4th of July instead of Navy blue. Navy can look black instead of blue, but the cobalt is dark enough to use for the blue in the "red, white, & blue" yet still look blue.
