What the skip?!
Skippety skip skip skip front and back of the whole darn thing. I pre-saled this and was sooooo anxious for it because its literally one of my favorites. Im truly hurt! The pressing is unforgivably horrible!

Don’t buy this version. Quality control is definitely lacking
While the album itself is worthy of five stars. This pressing is terrible and a disservice to Jill and her fans. Preordered and waited patiently only to have my shipping date get extended by two weeks. No problem maybe they’re getting the kinks out I read in other reviews. Wrong! The only side that plays without any skips or jumps is side 1. I even tried listening to it a few times to see if it would improve ( read that in one review) save yourself the time it didn’t help. Guess I’m going to have find a first pressing or continue listening to my original CD. Utterly ridiculous

Skip went away. Rest of the album looks and sounds great!
I initially encountered the same skips during The Roots Interlude that everyone else seemed to have experienced. However, third time must indeed be a charm bc the record now plays through the interlude just fine beginning with my third listen of the album. The remainder of the album sounds fine to me with no skips or pops to be found anywhere else. The vinyl’s shade of blue is appealing to the eyes too. If you loved this album as much as I did 20 years ago, I say cop it pending you can even find it anymore. I still think it’s worth it even if your copy has a really minute skip during an interlude (and hopefully it goes away after a few listens like mine did!)

Pleasantly surprised
I was excited to finally receive my limited edition pre-order. Came a day earlier then projected. The blue vinyl is beautiful to see. When initially played it did skip but very minor on the end of one the songs. Probably because of the pressing. But when I re-played it, the skipped song it was OK. Which was a relief. Overall satisfied.

Vinyl arrived defective
I was looking forward to this purchase since this is an all time classic favorite album. I waited 2 months for delivery and I paid $30 for this item only for both vinyls on both sides to arrive scratched. It skips mid-song on multiple songs on all four sides. I only discovered this defect after the return window closed since I didn’t listen to the album right away. So now I’m stuck with a useless $30 vinyl set. Not sure if this is snatch defect or a one-off. Needless to say, if you buy make sure you listen to the whole thing right away or just save your money.

She's complete art, company that pressed isn't!
Love her! As soon as I saw this for pre-order I HAD TO have it. After trying to play it, the album skipped over and over despite just taking it out of its beautiful packaging. I'm highly disappointed, not in the album itself because DUH, but because whoever pressed it up did a disservice to this work of art. I just want a copy that doesn't skip. So far no luck, but here's hoping smh *fingers crossed*

My heart is broken!
I was so excited to get my record today and it skips! I am so hurt. Jill Scott is literally my favorite artist of all time. Shame on the manufacturers for doing this to a beautiful and timeless body of work!
