## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this work on scale?**
A: Yes! I would recommend removing current scale, but this will prevent scale for 8 weeks and often longer in my experience

**Q: Is it safe to be used on orchids, i.e. phalaenopsis?  If so, in what quantities?**
A: Yes, I used this to get rid of a fungus gnat infestation in three orchids.  Each plant is in an 8" plastic container -- not sure of the volume.  For about 6 weeks, every other watering I removed the top 2 inches of bark and sprinkled 1 teaspoon on the surface.  I also thoroughly rinsed the bark that I removed in order to rinse off any eggs or pupae.  There never was any larvae because I let them dry out a min of 10 days between watering.  Then, I replaced the bark.  After 2 months the plants were fungus gnat free.  This is the only product I've found that actually works on fungus gnats.  I tried mosquito bits which seemed to help control the population but did not get rid of them.

**Q: Is it safe to use on indoor citrus trees?**
A: It's the same activite ingredient imidacloprid as BioAdvanced 701520A Fruit, Citrus & Vegetable Insect Control for Edible Gardening. Do what you will with that information. Bioadvace says not to eat fruit treated with imidacloprid for 90 days.
