If you need a sharpener- buy this! For a small device, it packs a punch. Much better than using one of those rod things you scrape your knife against, and also a large electric countertop sharpener I bought. Husband got this and went to town on the knives... Bought the blue because it was cheaper, but it was kinda dark. So what. If they were all the same price the yellow is nice to be able to locate in the drawer, tackle box, etc.

I work in a big restaurant and there is about 10 different personal and work provided steels, rods, and sharpeners including an electric one. I used to keep this in my bag. I let one person use this about 2 weeks ago and it was like a virus every single day someone else came up to me and wanted to "see" it. After seeing the bits of steel from there knives collect in my "Redi Edge" when they just used there own sharpener they all say.... what?? Long review short I have to keep this in my pocket now and loan it no less than twice a day. LOVE THIS LITTLE STICK!!!

A little tough to use when trying to hold it down on the edge of a counter. Haven't yet tried using it by hand with the knife blade pointing up, which I believe should be easier although more prone to accidents. Otherwise, it sharpens knives terrifically!

So easy to use, easy to clean, fits in your packet, and gets knives SHARP! I take this sharpener to the fish cleaning tables, which is the perfect size. It’s also super handy to have on the boat. Works on a variety of knives and I couldn’t be happier. Great item for the price...but it’s just a great item so bought a 2nd to keep at home.

So easy to use and great for sharpening. Be careful... you will have to take caution with your knives after sharpening. They get SHARP... I found out the hard way. Quality product, quality sharpening. Easy to store in any kitchen drawer.

Replacing my 20 year old sharpener instead of buying a new blade. I use this more than my $200 electric sharpener. Does such a good job sharpening with just a few swipes. No kitchen should be without this.

i love this sharpener. I must have bought a dozen different sharpeners in my life and this is the only one worth a lick. Better than the diamond sharpener, better than a dime store sharpener.

Best knife sharpener ever. I have been using them for 10 years and it has out sharpened every sharpener out there. A friend of mine, who uses a diamond edge sharpener that was double the cost, asks to use it. I never leave home to fish camp or hunting camp without it.
