I bought this one and was concerned about its ability to hold securely (most cup holders do not). I am extremely impressed. It holds a 16oz gatorade full with zero issues. No sway, no bounce, no tipping. Easy to place in and remove with one hand. This is the cup holder you need.

It does stay relative firmly. For normal use it is perfectly fine. I have to use the small hook not the long one that you can adjust. The product inculde both hook.

I needed extra cup holder space & this does the trick! It feels really sturdy & is actually more convenient than my center console cup holders, although I’d be concerned with placing a really tall cup in it. 4 stars because the clips that grasp onto the vent are very strong, but this also makes them extremely difficult to get back off if you need to.
