Retrospec Zuma Yoga Mat for Men & Women - Outdoor & Indoor Non Slip Exercise Mat for Hot Yoga, Pilates, Stretching Floor & Fitness Workouts

Since quarantine, I've had to turn my apartment into a gym. This mat is very nice for all types of workouts ranging from HIIT to yoga to cardio dance. One side is smooth and thats the side I use to work out on. It is soft and padded but not too padded where I feel I am falling into it. The other side has grooves and I feel that really helps it from not sliding around. I dont use a tool on this mat and even when I sweat I dont feel that the mat gets slippery. I would definitely buy this mat again!

The mat seems fine but there is NOT a strap with it. I purchased this one over other options because I really needed the strap. I can not see how to contact the company so I don’t know how to get one. I can’t wait to get this replaced. I would have bought a cheaper one without a strap. I screen shorted the description that says it come with nylon strap!

Though it's not listed in the advertisement, the packaging lets consumers know that this yoga mat is made with ethylene oxide, a chemical known to the State of California (and perhaps soon the United States) as a carcinogen, or cause for cancer. I researched this chemical and others, looked at other yoga mats, and contacted customer service. The representative let me know that the chemical is only used in the filling and that the product is "safe for my health." If that status changes, they'll definitely hear about it from me. It was alarming initially to think a yoga mat designed to improve my health could simultaneously damage it! I hope their statement gives others like me some peace of mind.It is made with TPE and built to last; if you're looking for more environmentally friendly yoga mats and have a larger budget, the ones made of cork and different kinds of cloth seem excellent. The company Retrospec seems to be relatively eco-friendly, but I'd be interested in learning more about them (how much workers are paid, how safe working conditions are, etc). I hope to be able to use this yoga mat a long time. I'm happy with the color (periwinkle), thickness, length, and pattern design on each side. It looks like it will be easy to clean. Mine did not come with a strap. Hope this feedback is helpful for you as you shop!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  It may as well as have been packaged by a drunk toddler with tape and glue. It arrived half open and I’m not kidding. The only reason I didn’t take pictures of the wrapping is because I planned on keeping it since the quality based on reviews, seemed like it wouldn’t been legit. Nope. Already had what looked similar to a small puncture wound in skin? Only way I know how to describe it- and super “crumpled”- is that even a word? Definitely returning because this yoga mat is a hot mess.

Love the color! But after practicing at home some yoga classes I had to return it 🙁 the ends would rolled up... I tried it on grass, tile and carpet ... just would not work for me.No problem returning the item! Thankful for the refund!!

Beautiful mat, and perfect color! Our apartment has a turquoise/yellow theme and this mat is exactly what I’ve been looking for and fits in perfectly. It’s cushion-y and the perfect length as well. It also came with a stretchy elastic strap so that it can be carried, but I will mainly be using it at home to do quarantine pilates! Also came perfectly packaged :) Thank you!

Purchased mat in May 2020 and used for 5 months. When the virus broke out I wanted my own mat to use for floor work at my local gym. I loved the mat for 5 months. It's not very thick but that's exactly what I wanted; thick enough to be a comfortable surface but not so thick it was hard to balance on. I stopped going to the gym in October when virus numbers went a little crazy; mat was rolled up in a closet for 3 months. I was so DISAPPOINTED today when I unrolled the mat to find a large (1.5"x2") air bubble had formed and half the mat had deformed. I can probably deflate the air bubble but the wavy mat edge looks permanent. As for the strap that came with it-fell apart in less than a week. Would not recommend this mat.

Really happy with this mat. It's a lot thicker than I was expecting, so I actually find it very comfortable. I have been doing daily workouts on it where I am doing crunches, planks, etc and my back, wrists, and knees do not hurt as much as they did before I got this mat. The cushion helps a lot! The color is also very bright and cheerful. I find it very easy to roll up and put the straps on, so it's easy to put away and store in a closet.

Llega rápido y muy bien empaquetado. Incluye su respectivo strap para cargarlo o mantenerlo enrollado.El material es híper cómodo para ejercitarse, no se siente el piso para nada incluso si estás de rodillas o totalmente acostado, tampoco se resbala. La longitud es buenísima, yo mido 1.71 y sobran un par de cm si me recuesto sobre él. El color es muy bonito y aunque se ensucia mucho es muy fácil de limpiar.Tengo usándolo ya un par de meses y no tengo ninguna queja. Lo limpio cada vez que lo uso (6 días a la semana), lo a veces hasta con cloro (🥴) y no se ha descascarado, roto ni manchado. Lo único es que hay que tener cuidado con las garritas de las mascotas porque si se llega a arañar, pero por el precio es una ganga!

Pésimo producto, no se dejen engañar. En menos de un mes de uso regular el material está todo marcado y arrugado. Lo traté y lo limpié con el mayor cuidado de acuerdo a las instrucciones pero el material es de muy mala calidad. Dice en la descripción que no es tóxico pero en el empaque tiene una advertencia de que tiene sustancias cancerígenas y además el tapete tiene un olor químico fuertísimo que tarda varias semanas en quitarse. Un fiasco total, tengan cuidado. Es cómodo pero es prácticamente desechable. Calculo que durará un par de meses de uso regular.

I have several good things to say about my new mat. It is thicker than i thought, it is 2 colours with different surfaces on each side and it is a few inches longer than my old mat.

I bought this mat because I wanted a non slip and thinner mat than the one I already own. I purposely bought this mat to use for yoga (as I am now a beginner and need a good support base). I just completed my first yoga course with this mat and it held up perfectly! Could not be happier and it came with the strap :)

Me gusta porque no te resbalas, tiene buen grosor y el color es muy lindo, solo que se leHan hecho como hendiduras en las partes donde apoyó más los pues y manos y empieza a perderDureza en esas zonas pero en general muy bien, lo uso diario y ya tengo más de 6 meses con él. Para el precio me parece que no es una mala compra.
