Designed to replicate the legendary sound of Billy Gibbons’ 1959 Les Paul pickups, these pickups offer dynamic output (DCR Neck 7.5, Bridge 8.21), vacuum wax potting for noise reduction, and a 4-conductor shielded cable for versatile wiring. Crafted in Santa Barbara, CA, they bring classic rock authenticity with modern reliability. ## Description The Pearly Gates neck captures all the mojo of the original neck pickup from Billy Gibbons' 1959 Les Paul. It is a PAF with a unique tonal character, and more midrange than typical humbuckers from that time. The result is a neck pickup that cuts through with stronger tailored midst, but still has the open and airy treble attack of the alnico 2 bar magnet. Combined with a warm, spongy low end, this pickup is great for both rhythm and lead playing. ## Features - Our country-fried Pearly Gates humbucker pickups transform any Les Paul style guitar into a classic rock outlaw. The Pearly Gates neck captures all the mojo of the original neck pickup from Billy Gibbons’ 1959 Les Paul. It is a P.A.F. with a unique tonal variation that provides more midrange than typical humbuckers from that time. - Seymour discovered Billy’s bridge pickup had slightly more output than most P.A.F.s, which helped to give it the extra drive that make this pickup so special. The Alnico 2 bar magnet keeps the high end sounding airy but focused, and the midrange emphasis gives it a unique Texas sizzle. It really has a growl all its own and will help to bring any humbucker-equipped instrument to life. - Hand built in our Santa Barbara, CA factory, the Pearly Gates vintage output humbucker pickups use an Alnico 2 bar magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and are vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance. As with all our P.A.F. style humbuckers, every Pearly Gates is wound on Seymour’s original Leesona winding machine from the early Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan, for that unmistakable vintage mojo. - Handmade in Santa Barbara, California: Seymour Duncan takes pride in designing and crafting our products to create the most amazing sound possible. That starts with providing an environment that attracts and retains our great team of engineers, product designers and craftsmen, many of whom have been with the company for decades. - DCR Neck: 7.5, DCR Bridge: 8.21, Magnet: Alnico 2, 4c Shielded Cable ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #19,259 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #114 in Electric Guitar Pickups & Pickup Covers | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 220 Reviews | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Seymour Duncan - **Color:** Zebra - **Top Material Type:** Maple - **Body Material:** Mahogany - **Neck Material Type:** Maple - **Guitar Pickup Configuration:** H-H - **String Material Type:** Nickel - **Hand Orientation:** Right - **Guitar Bridge System:** Tune-O-Matic - **Number of Strings:** 6 ## Images ![Pearly Gates - Set - Zebra - Electric Guitar Pickup - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51GbvpSofiL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates Humbucker Pickup Set for Electric Guitar - Zebra - The Art Of Tone Gavitt Pushback Cloth Wire for Electric Guitar, 22awg Pre-tinned Stranded Copper Wire, 10 feet of Each Color, Black/White/Yellow --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ec/products/18087970-pearly-gates-set-zebra-electric-guitar-pickup](https://www.desertcart.ec/products/18087970-pearly-gates-set-zebra-electric-guitar-pickup) --- *Product available on Desertcart Ecuador* *Store origin: EC* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
