Would not work at all with a 2020 Intel Mac Mini. Tried all the the things on the internet, nothing worked. It's funny (and sad) because buying a wired controller should be the choice for people who don't want a convoluted connection process, but instead to just plug and play. Shouldn't be too hard. But yeah it doesn't work on Macs. **Q: using controller with steam games?** A: I bought 3 of these because I bought 3 copies of Flight Simulator X for Steam (one for me, one for my wife, and one for my son). I thought I would have to reprogram the buttons but it worked great out of the box. It's the exact same style controller as our Xbox 360 controllers. In fact I think these are a more comfortable fit.It worked a little funky at first but I realized that was my fault. I had to flip the switch on the back of the controller from X to D. I think that's from Xbox mode to Direct mode. After that it worked great and I was able play on Steam. **Q: How long is the length of the cable?** A: Its about 6 ft long. **Q: Is it compatible with windows 8?** A: Yes. Go to http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support/gamepad-f310?crid=411&osid=14&bit=64 for the controller, click downloads in blue, and underneath the controller image you will be able to choose windows 8 (32 or 64 bit) for the drivers. I'm sure they are on the cd provided too.
