The unit came intact and in good shape. The instructions were minimal so I had to download the manual from the internet to truly understand all the features. The unit has a 42 inch extension cord which is helpful in reviewing the reader information while sitting in the drivers seat. I plugged it into my Honda Odyssey and it was easy to use, showing that all emission controls and monitors were operating satisfactorily.
