## Description

It's the addictive puzzle game that started it all! The ideal addition to any retro gaming fan's home, this Tetris Tetrimino Light is a light you can interact with. You place the Tetriminos into the Matrix to make it light up, meaning you can create whichever patterns you wish. The light is USB powered, and features a black board and 53 Tetriminos that you can place in as if you were playing Tetris. In 1984, the Tetris game was born from the imagination of computer programmer Alexey Pajitnov. Inspired by his favorite puzzle board game, Pentominos, Pajitnov created an electronic game that let players arrange puzzle pieces in real time as they fell from the top of the Matrix. The resulting design was a game that used seven distinctive geometric playing pieces called Tetriminos, each made up of four squares. Pajitnov called this game “Tetris,” a combination of “tetra” (the Greek word meaning “four”) and “tennis” (his favorite sport). The Tetris Tetrimino Light is an officially licensed Tetris product. - This product is made using BDP which stands for Breakdown Plastic – an organic additive that helps plastic decompose at landfill without affecting either its structural integrity (before landfill) or the recyclability of the product. Features CUSTOMIZABLE NIGHTLIGHT: Fun to play with and personalize, use the tetris blocks to create shapes and patterns you choose on the light up board! The light is USB powered, and includes 53 Tetrominos. COLORFUL LAMP: Featuring all of the classic designs from the original arcade game, Tetris, this colorful lamp features Tetrominos in rainbow colors that will offer a vibrant pop of light and color to any space. VIDEO GAME THEMED LIGHT: This nightlight is perfect for children, teens or adults. Add this item to your man cave, bedroom, baby nursery, toddler’s play room, or themed home theater. RETRO DECOR: These blocks are a nostalgic piece of memorabilia for geeks and fans of Tetris.

Review: Don't break it!!!! Display it :) - Love this item! (there seems to be a lot of reviews on how easily this breaks). But here is the thing its not really a toy as much as it is a tetris display for decor and amusement. You can't just rip out the pieces to change it. You just take a bit of time and this thing will honestly prolly last forever. I have several paladone products and this one is great addition.
Review: A fantastic gift for gamers - This is a great little decor light piece. It is really well lit when most of the tiles are installed. Definitely a cool piece for an office or, as we did, we hooked it up to a game system so it is illuminated while the console is on.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic gift for gamers

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not for daily use, but a cute idea
*by M***E on June 2, 2020*

I bought this as an anniversary gift, and my boyfriend really enjoys it. It's not something he's going to play with it daily, but he had fun mixing the pieces. I initially copied the heart design from the example pictures when presenting the gift, and he even thought it was cute. The pieces snapped in nicely, but required a little strong leverage to remove them. I can't imagine someone playing with this like a Lite Brite- I see this more as a decorative item. I tried to take a picture of the dark blue pieces, but they actually look much dimmer in person than through the camera lens. That is my only complaint- the dark blue does not let enough light through in comparison to the other pieces. From across the room, the dark blue pieces look like the black background. The picture makes the dark seem to be brighter, but in reality it is fairly dim.
