This is a cute invention. Super easy to use. The receiver has a music note on it and it lights up to the beat of the song it's playing. You just plug it in the wall. The doorbell button when you push it lights up. Adjustable volume and tons of doorbell jingles to choose from.

I wanted to love this, I really did, but it scorched and smelled horrible! This was with regular use. I'm glad it was plugged in near where we sit in the living room because we may not have caught the scorching before it became a fire. One afternoon after the ups guy dropped off a package and range the bell I smelled something off. It took me a while to track down the smell and I had a hard time believing it was from the doorbell. But it happened a couple more times, so I unplugged it and the smell stopped. When I went to unplug it the unit was extremely hot and I had to use a potholder to unplug it so I didn't hurt my hand. Bottom line: find a different doorbell. This one is not safe and I wouldn't trust it not to burn my house down! I can't give zero stars here, but I would if I could.

I got this doorbell because of the reviews and the price. 4.5 stars or so. It is so easy to install it is ridiculous. It is so loud you can hear it with no problems at all. It plugs in it simple to install the doorbell itself on the outside of your house. It was so good that we purchased a second one and sync it to the original one so we can have a doorbell on the first floor and on the third floor. I have a relative that lives on the third floor of my house and he wanted a doorbell up there so we purchased another one the very same night. They synced up it was simple and they are both loud. They have 50 or something different types of chimes variable levels of how loud you can go. and believe me it can go very loud. different kinds of funny chimes as well besides a standard of normal bell ring. Picture your cell phone and all the different types of rings that it has. This doorbell has exactly the same thing. I would highly recommend it so far there is absolutely no problems at all with them.

This product is great if you want a doorbell. We couldn't get this thing to chose anything other than the default ring no matter what. And now I'm glad we couldn't. I let our beautiful autistic boy (who loves music) shuffle through the songs on the receiver yesterday. Great time for him. He smiled an laughed. I took video of him and thanked my stars I was never able to get it to do any of the other ring tones....and that unpaired the button from the receiver. Which is why I cam back here, to figure out how to re-pair them. I knew when I handed it over to him it might do that but totally worth it.And what do I see now? I bought this thing almost two years ago and that button is mounted outside with screws and silicone caulk around it and that battery is still kicking strong.That's about the only part of this review that may be helpful but, that would have saved me from buying the wired kind and the cluster that attempt was when our old doorbell broke. Save yourself time, effort and money. Just get one of these and replace the battery every 5 years or whatever.

I live in a two story, two bedroom town home, that was not equipped with a doorbell. Being that I have Amazon Prime, I am known to go on shopping sprees and have various packages arriving at my door at all times of the day. My work station is upstairs and my biggest concern was with the package being left at the front door unattended. I was worried I would not hear the knock, or the delivery agent wouldn't even bother to knock. This is why I went ahead on purchased this wireless doorbell.The product arrived in a nice little box that was packed perfectly. The contents included the doorbell, the receiver, screws for mounting, sticker for mounting, one AAA battery, and the instructions. The instructions are simple to understand and explain all the features of the doorbell, including common troubleshooting problems. You plug the receiver into any outlet and change the volume and type of ring on it. The volume can be fairly loud on the highest setting and I actually have it programmed on the third volume option (loud enough for me to hear upstairs). The doorbell has two mounting options, it can either be mounted onto a surface by removing the back plate and drilling, or you can just apply the sticker and stick it to a surface. I went with the sticker option because I am renting. So far it had held well in the heat, it does not get rained upon because it is covered by a portion of the roof. If it is effected by rain it will eventually lose its grasping power and will need to be swapped out with another sticker.I'm loving this doorbell. When plugged in, it does not obstruct the way of the other outlet. The volume is perfect and can be increased to become very loud, perfect if you live in a big house. The doorbell does require a AAA battery to operate and does come with one in the package. You can choose from a ton of different ringtones, they have some Christmas ones, a rocky one, and regular doorbell chimes as well. I recommend you choose your ring before mounting the doorbell, as pairing them requires both the doorbell and receiver to be in close proximity.My only complaint about the doorbell comes down to when you are selecting a ring. Once you have passed a ring you must cycle through all the other rings in order to go select it again, you cannot go backwards. So just be sure to go slow when you are trying to select the ring you liked. Other than it it's a fiver star product and a steal at the price offered. I rate this product a 5/5

A great addition for any house! We got this for our new place and it works fantastic. We installed it with the screw option outside and the installation was quick. We put the receiver for it upstairs and have no problems with hearing it when someone comes to call. My only regret was not getting a second receiver for the downstairs. It took me a few minutes to sync the two, but that was because I was hitting the wrong button. The variety of tunes is great and my daughter gets a kick out of it each time the doorbell rings. The distance between the two is good and there is no distortion, as my TV is not too far away either. I highly recommend this product for anyone lacking a doorbell, or just because, as this product is great to have and provides a chuckle, as you can switch up the chimes once a week and still have a lot left. 5-star product all the way!!

Very easy to install. Odd battery but one came with the chime and worked fine. I would give it 5 stars except for two minor items...your get 50 different chime sounds but the only one my wife and I found to be useful and not annoying was the simple "ding-dong" sound. The rest are tinny and sound like something coming out of a child's toy. You may disagree, i.e. love all the choices, so...this is just a personal item. The other small item...the "chime" part that plugs in to an outlet is rather large and depending on your plug layout, might cover up the second outlet and prevent you from using that outlet for a lamp or something. In our case, I used a short extension cord to solve that problem and place the chime in a preferred location. Good product and definitely beats trying to install a low voltage line to the panel, ringer and chime as our old one was configered.

Product looks and works great.The receiver is quite small, while the transmitter (button) might be a bit large for some installs it fits fine in our case.Transmitter is not really weather proof (nor water proof). Just add a bit of transparent silicon to make a seal. We have it installed under a overhang, so no risks of being exposed to the weather.Easy to install - plug receiver in, pull battery 'protector' out (no need to open transmitter), set volume and pick a tune (or leave default). That's it.A good buy for the price.

Works great! Lots of bell tones too! Even holiday themes. MY only complaint is that most people overlook the door bell button as it looks different from "traditional" buttons. Good product that can be moved and plugged into any outlet. Outside button comes with screws and 3m double tape. The button would hold out basic moisture, but direct rain would make me leary.. Overall this is much better than running new wires to replace the damaged old ones, and any shiftworkers can just unplug the bell while you sleep in undisturbed :)

Arrived fast. Came paired. All I had to do was plug in the receiver and mount the button outside and sounded like a ding dong (oh oh hotdog!).....we'll see how it does with a Canadian winter but otherwise I am very happy, it works everytime. Now I have to find the receipt for the piece of crap door bell I bought from Home Depot and go return it...
