This tent is awesome! I've had my eye on it for awhile
This tent is awesome! I've had my eye on it for awhile, and finally splurged. and it was well worth the expense. I took it camping in the rain, and it was able to keep me dry. Front access through the main door is pretty straight forward, and access through the center hatch made it easy to keep the inside of the tent dry. There was plenty of room for my wife, our dog, and myself. The floor withstood my dogs furious attempts to dig herself out (It may have taken her a bit to get used to being up in the air), and the rain fly kept us dry for the three nights we were out there, despite heavy rain. We had a couple of pads and were able to stay nice and warm, despite the rather chilly Pacific Northwest spring conditions we went camping in (It got down below 40 F).A cautionary note to potential buyers: this isn't necessarily what I would refer to as a "beginner" tent. While the set up isn't necessarily difficult, it's also not quite as straightforward as a regular tent (though far more comfortable). Similarly, if you go camping and are not adequately prepared, you might find it to be cold: you are going to be up in the air and aren't all that well insulated. A nice sleeping bag and a good pad should make you plenty comfortable (and Tentsile has other insulation options available at an additional cost, though those were a bit too pricey for me). Finally, this is a hammock tent. If you aren't used to setting up or sleeping in a hammock, a hammock tent may not be your best option. However, I want to point out that I love this tent, and I think it's the best tent I've ever used (I'm an avid camper, so I consider myself something of an expert on tents). I read reviews about the Stingray, and saw that some people were surprised that this tent required more effort to setup or use. This is a unique tent, with some amazing benefits to it. It's not going to be like your standard on-the-ground tent. It may take more effort and planning, but it also provides a better experience. I'm super excited to continue using the tent, and would recommend it to anyone who likes an adventure.

It's worth the money.
This is the best tent I have ever bought. After watching the setup videos, it takes me 30 minutes to setup my Trillium and Stingray. This system keeps all my gear off the ground; dirt-free and dry. You get the most comfortable sleep on your back, sides and stomach. I have only used this tent during the winter. I use a thermarest pad underneath my sleeping bag. I don't think you can use it in the cold without one. As far as quality, the stitching isnt uniform and symmetrical, but it's functional. Everything is made with durable material. You won't be disappointed in the slightest. The only advice I can give you, is make sure that you close the ratchets. Of all the rearching that I did on these tents I have found 1 accident. A guy didn't close one of the ratchets and his teenager was in the tent when the side collapsed. The kid didn't even sustain a bruise because they had the tent 4 ft high. Hope this helps.

Early to tell but so far so good.
So far so good except already have two broken plastic zipper grips. Very cheap. We have had it a week and have it suspended in our back yard and we have slept in it a couple times already. Once it's set up right and level, it does sleep like a hammock. The floor seems very sturdy. I love the ceiling and wall mesh but concerned about it ripping from something simple like a sleeping bag zipper or something. One pole did come loose but was easy to put back. I believe if you take care of something well enough, it will last. We will see. We have the camp rain fly And it covers the whole tent and then some so not sure where others had issues. I agree whole heartedly about Tentsile needing to come out with darker straps. (Remark from another review) Even knowing how cool it is and wanting to show it off, I want it to disappear in our back yard and really any where we hang it. Dark green or black straps would be cool. The cool factor definitely gets 5 Stars as well as the concept. Way to go guys.I have read all the legality, terms and warranty. What I don't like is this part:"The following damage is not covered by the Warranty● General wear & tear over 3 months continuous reasonable use*For the price, this thing better last longer than 3 months of normal use.We will see. I will write another review in a month or so.By the way, we are avid back packers and campers. We live outdoors pretty much and hope to use this all throughout the year.

Best tent ever
This is THE best tent I have ever owned! It's been a while summer, used 6 times for at least 3 day trips and every time it gets better. Pro tip, use a water level on all of the trees to get spot on level.

Easier to build than it might look at first.
We bought this tent for a camping trip to Maine, and tested building it just once before the trip. It is far easier to install than it might seem at first, though the vendor has a really great video showing just this. The tent did attract a great deal of positive attention from other campers, and we love it. One thing to keep in mind, it's a bit like a water bed. If one person moves in it, the other inhabitant will feel the wave motion. We were able to adjust the bottom so that it was flat and tight (no sagging! during sleep). We wonder if buying two single-person tents from them might be better than having this 3 person for 2 people. In all other regards, the tent is a dream come true. All of the materials are of the very very best quality. A+ !!

Awesome for car camping with kids
Bought this last winter and used it a bunch of times this spring and summer. Be sure to watch the videos and practice a few times before you go out camping with it. I am very happy with the construction. The hammock belts and ratchets are over-built and the rest of the tent very high quality. We camped once in 35 degrees and it buckled up nicely. My daughters (6 and 9) loved it. It was their tent. Part trampoline, part tent. The only problem was my daughters didn't weigh enough to bend the nylon and always slid to the middle. Anyone who weighs enough will bulge the individual "hammock" and have their own sleeping bay. Awesome tent for car camping.[EDIT, 9/22/19]: Another season of camping in the books. I still wholeheartedly endorse this product.
