Review: if you have a touch or more of arthritis in your hand or carpal tunnel, PROBLEM! see review. - I had wanted one of the "crop-a-dile" products for a long, long time. But it was to me, an indulgence when there were so many others needs at hand. When I finally decided; a little Mother's Day treat for myself, there none to be had! Now my angst was rearing it's ugly head and the anticipation when it finally did arrive was somewhat deflating. Through no fault of anyone but my imagination. So, packaging being what it is, nearly won the battle but my cat helped, and we pulled out this somewhat heavier than expected chunky and squeezable heavy duty, like you're going to be using this for the rest of your life and your granddaughter will be expected to will it to her children. Okay, I am exaggerating. I am making a point. They made this to last! So many times, I purchased an item that was broken and in the recycle bin within a year or two. Then you rinse and repeat, over and over again. If you have issues with your hands, you should perhaps hesitate and find someone that has this item in the same style that you want and had just recently purchased. Cause I know you don't want to buy it, try it, and then try and remember to send it back on time. It is possible that it will loosen up over time and use, which is why I am waiting and using it as much as I can in the next month and hope that I get used to it, or it becomes less resistant. So, this review is PART A, Part B will be the first week in July 2021. The action of trimming the corners is perfect. I purchased the 1/4 and 1/2 rounded corner Crop-a-dile. The 1/2 is a nice full-size curve and all I had to do was stick the tip of the corner into the nested guide and squeeze the handles just like scissors. (That squeezing is where the discomfort comes in.) The little pieces that are cut off are stored in a little container that you must empty regularly as it can interfere with usage. It seems to be able to cut through anything that I have thrown at it: cardboard, paper, card stock, plastic, tissue paper, sand paper, magazine paper, The other side is a 1/4 curve thats is less round and not quite as large over all. I find that you must make sure the wings are spread all the way out to ensure full contact with the blade and the tip of the corner. I hope you have as much fun as I am with it. The price is right on desertcart.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How well does it round the plastic on laminated cards?**
A: It cuts about a 99% clean corner, maybe not good enough for NASA, but certainly not a problem if you run your finger along it. I use it to round-off 10mil laminated items, and it has performed perfectly.

**Q: does it cut leather very well?**
A: I have not tried it on leather. When asked to rate this item I do not think that I rated it very high, however I found that I was not using it the correct way and now that I have fixed that I am very satisfied with the job it does for cutting my corners. I almost always use card stock when using this item.

**Q: Will this cut 4-ply matboard?**
A: I cut regular card stock that is 110# for card making. I went down in my craft room and tried cutting regular matboard with it. I don't don't if 4-ply is different than the matboard that they use to mat pictures professionally, which is the kind I have. It would be pushing it to say it will cut that thickness on a regular basis. I got it to cut once or twice, but it did not give a truly clean cut. I don't know if it would hold up to that kind of wear and tear. Hope that helps answer your question.

**Q: How many layers of paper will it cut through? 
Will I be able to cut an entire notebook (about 20 pages) in one punch?**
A: It will cut 2 or 3 layers of chipboard or 6-8 sheets of paper at once.  I only cut 3 or 4 sheets of cardstock at a time, as there is not a clamp to hold the paper as it is cutting, and too many layers cut at once will shift.  This is the sturdiest corner cutter I have found.
