Disappointing heat distribution
I tested this gilet for a couple of hours. I specifically chose this one because of the left and right chest and small of back heat distribution. There is plenty of heat over the left breast (close above the zipped pocket where the power pack is kept) but that is about it. I think it is suspicious that there is no diagrammatic confirmation of these heat sources on the literature that came with the garment. I would have returned it the same day but the outside temperature had dropped and it was urgently needed by my wife who suffers from Reynauds. On the positive side, she likes the softness of the material and that it is snug around her neck. She also finds the press button friendly and swapping of power packs easy. She says the gilet helps against the cold even with one obvious hot spot, providing she is wearing a couple of layers of clothing on top.I wouldn't buy this particular jacket again. Choose one with careful consideration to the heated areas and without a power pack. I can't see the sense in a 10,000 mHa output pack except for more profit for the manufacturer (they retail at about £11.) Buy a separate pack of 30,000 mHa for about £30. They are a little bigger and heavier but will last three times longer. You stand a chance if caught out all day and night perhaps in freezing weather. A spare large capacity pack or even two I would say is essential if you are out and about over the winter, walking or biking.

So great for keeping warm!
This is a great product if you get cold easily like me and want to keep warm. I work from home and spend a lot of time sitting at my desk, this jacket is much better and cheaper than turning on the central heating.I bought a Conqueco coat for my daughter so she could keep warm working outside in Scotland last January, she loved it. Then I bought this Gilet for myself, and now I've bought another one for my mother-in-law so she can keep warm at home. I have two suggestions: please put the sizing details somewhere that is easy to fine, and make some heated socks please!I had lost the washing instructions and had trouble finding the contact details, but as soon as I sent an email through, I got a very quick response to my questions.

I love it!
I suffer from the cold quite badly - especially when sitting in the school car park waiting to collect my grandchildren.A friend of mine was recently wearing a heated jacket which gave me the idea to research one and found this gilet which works best for me as I can wear it under a coat.It is like wearing an electric blanket and keeps me lovely and warm on these cold afternoons. It is necessary (as in the instructions) to run the battery down (wearing the garment or not) and fully re-charge several times (6 hours to recharge) for the battery to build up its full power.I would also add that CONQUECO after sales service is excellent and they were extremely helpful in regard to my battery life query.

Lovely Winter Warmer
Bought the padded gilet last year to under my motorbike jacket but it was too bulky. Decided to buy the fleece version and see if that works better. Brilliant jacket and very warm I like the 3 heat options and very rarely need it on full power for long. Comes with aa rechargeable battery and has it's own pocket behind of the front left pocket. This battery does not feel as heavy the in the jacket I bought last year. It has been perfect for winter walks and make a huge difference as I am quite petite and feel the cold. Shame it doesn't come in an extra small. Then it would be perfect. Still given it 5 stars.

Only 5000 mah battery pack not 10000
The product did not come with the advertised capacity and the instructions looked like they where ran through google translate backwards. Also they put the price up a day after I bought it for 85.

Too small
Bought the large (my normal size) but its a little bit snug. It needs to be well fitted but I can only just close the zip up. The heated part is OK. You won't feel the heating much outside in really cold weather but it still does a fair job in keeping you warm if worn under a winter coat. Battery life is not as good as suggested by the makers but any decent 10.000mAh battery with a full sized usb socket seems to work as long as its not any bigger in size than the supplied battery as the battery pocket is very small. My biggest issue is that the zips used for the pockets and battery pocket are pretty rubbish. One of the pockets zips has jammed a few times and the last time I thought it wouldn't work but, after a lot of faffing about, I managed to release it. It seems to jam on the lining so care needs to be taken when using the zips. Pretty pricey overall but I've not tried any of the other cheaper brands so nothing to compare it with really.

worked a couple of times, then failed
Update, worn a couple of times, and the heat from the chest left-hand side gives some warmth, but the right-hand side hardly any heat. The back is very hot, to the point of being uncomfortable. Will be returning.Very comfortable. Wore on my motorbike when it was 5c and I was nice toasty. It is very warm even without the power switched on.The only 2 reasons I have given it 5 stars is the zips are a little flimsy, so not sure how long they will last, and that the back and front do not work independently.

A warm lifesaver
My friend bought me one of these for Christmas... It went skiing with me on the Alpes and was a total lifesaver... but more than just a skiing item, once back in the UK I have found I have worn it more than ever... Chilly school runs, outside sporting activities with the children, in the garden but also at home during the day when I haven't wanted to turn the heating on. This beauty has kept the chill off and saved me loads of money with heating the house. All my friends want one now. Best present ever!
