Replace Your Membranes!
Great replacement pack. Works with my Pump In Style Advanced pump by Medela.I did not originally order replacement parts for my breast pump because I figured I am very gentle and would wash my items after every use. While I read the pump manual, I somehow missed the part about maintenance of these membranes. I was so gentle with them at the beginning when cleaning, that I made sure the water didn't push the membrane out too far, so it would maintain a tight seal. Somehow, I didn't realize you were supposed to remove them when cleaning, so imagine my surprise when I *accidentally* pulled the membrane out during a cleaning and saw bits of mold in the bottom!! I had to use a q-tip to get in the grooves and multiple hot water and soap washes, as well as a few trips through the sanitizer before I felt comfortable to use the pump again! I can only imagine how many bottles my poor daughter had with bits of mold in them!So....I highly recommend buying a pack or two of these membranes and replacing them on your pump regularly.

Replace often!
I recently found out (oops!), after using the same pair of membranes for 9 months, pumping 3 times a day, that membranes should be replaced periodically. Medela says monthly. But, it really depends on how rough you are on them when you wash them, if you use a bottle brush on them at least once a day yes, I would say you probably will rip one before the month is out. However, I was putting soap on my pinky and being very gentle while washing. However, I had noticed over time that I was collecting less milk. I attributed this to me having a cold and my baby getting older. After replacing the membranes and trimming the ends of my tubing (where it connects to the pump) I didn't have to take the fenugreek and blessed thistle anymore to increase my supply. This product is exactly as described. It is the original replacement Medela membranes. I looked at the cheaper off-brand listed on Amazon but decided that I would probably get about 3 months out of a pair and one pack of these would last me until the end of my need to pump for this baby. They work as expected and were priced well. Thanks!

Great buy!
I'm so glad I can easily order these on Amazon because I loose them so often when I wash my pump parts. I'm glad they aren't expensive either. I love my Mandela hand pump and the parts are easy to use, wash and assemble.

Brand name replacement part
I did not realize how often I needed to change this part and once I did it was back to that powerful suction! I have a Medela pump so the replacement part was the perfect fit, it was easy to install and for the price there is multiple replacement sets in the package. Overall very happy with my purchase

Remember to replace these
As a first time Mom, no one told me that I needed to replace these. Once I figured it out and I replaced them what a difference it made with the suction. If you haven’t replaced her and you feel like you’re not getting your normal supply replaced and you will thank me later. It is recommended to replace after a month of use if you pump more than 3 times a day. I ended up replacing mine every 2 weeks to avoid clogged ducts.
