The images on the site will make you think you can add color to nice soft styles. This is NOT ACCURATE. This hair WAX makes your hair instantly stiff and crunchy. This is great for short spiky hair styles. It works great for my son. It holds his hair up, adds color, washes out easy. However, if you think you can get long hair or soft wavy hair colored with this stuff you will be as disappointed as I was. I wanted to add some silver streaks to my curled hair. I ended up just doing my whole head and calling it Halloween witch hair for a day. I give it 3 stars because for short spiky hair it's spot on. That being said, don't expect much for long hair except painful ripping out of your tresses as you yank sticky was through your head and then have crunchy nasty feeling fake hair.

Don’t let the low star reviews fool you if you are a natural curly girl. I have type 4a/b hair and I tried this and it was awesome! I did a wash n go and used this instead of gel and it defined my girls almost as well. I used curl cream to break the cast and banded it overnight. I’m going to try more colors. The best thing is it washes clean off my hands with warm water and soap. It doesn’t stain my clothes, pillow (wearing a scarf) or the back of my jacket where my hair hits. This is a great temporary solution for fun hair color when you feel like it!!

 This stuff is amazing. From application, hold, comfort, cleaning, and color transfer, it's a definite win.Application:Two methods, two different results.1) rub between hands first, then apply to hair (like normal wax)--More control over color and hold--Less saturation. More of an accent to my black hair instead of an overwhelming red.--NOTE: the pictures used a small thumb sized amount with this method, applied randomly to the top of my head only. I was very happy with the results. Minimal product used, but good color.2) apply directly onto hair--Significantly more saturating than method 1. ONE layer of this method = THREE layers of method 1.--Makes hair crunchy and hard like gel. Needs to be combed / brushed through. Feels mostly normal afterHold:This holds just as well as typical, medium hold hair wax.It cooperates with brushing. It will smooth out / be less stiff with brushing/combing.Comfort:Paired with brushing and application method, this feels just as you'd expect from a medium hold hair wax. For my hair length, I could still feel a sense of waxiness, but nothing out of what I'd expect from 4 layers of product on my head. With a single layer from the pictures, no problem.Cleaning:Your hands WILL be heavily saturated in red, but that doesn't matter. Note: video.--Washes off hands, even without soap, in 10-15 seconds.--Just as easily washes out in shower after a few seconds of water + shampoo. Began to wash out from just water alone, so I would be wary of rain when outdoors.Color Transfer:Probably my favorite thing about this product.Practically speaking, THERE IS NONE. See video.To give an example, you have to VIGOROUSLY pull your fingers through your hair for it to transfer.Given less than 2-3 mins to dry/settle, it held and would not transfer--From my hands (after applying) to other objects/skin (unless I REALLY tried)--From my hair to my clothes (if using application method 2, brushing out excess is necessary to avoid transfer)--From my head to my pillow/sheets.I decided to gamble and sleep in this stuff. See picture, it DID NOT transfer to my pillow after FOUR layers of method 1 and one layer of method 2 (different sections).All in all, this stuff is an unbelievable value, incredible effective, a practical all in one solution, and reliable (color transfer/retention).

Ordered the red, it is a little bit more of a pink red but does the job. It has been getting all over everything like the necklines of my jackets and pillows (some white) since I have shoulder length hair. Will use next time for just a quick outing with clothing that it won’t touch as much. Did not stain my hands and things I randomly touched but will wash clothes and see if tint remains and update. Update: washed on of the white sweaters I wore and it did not stain, completely white again

This stuff is amazing! I got it for my daughter for a school project. We were initially skeptical because it appeared to be magenta or hot pink, but as it dried it got darker and truly is the wine red. It is beautiful and she got so many compliments and application was simple enough. The only drawback was all of the red dye on the clothing and pillows and I aboutFell over when there was evidence of red hair color on my mom’s brand new light gray suede couch! The good news is it came right out so a life was saved that day LOL! I will definitely be ordering additional colors.

My daughter really wanted to have purple hair but cannot have anything permit due to hula so we liked the idea of this being able to wash out. This strongly smells like old man's cologne and the color doesn't show up well (she has dark brown hair and you could barely see it) and it stiffened her hair like she had a head full of hair spray.

Have curly, dry hair - dark color. This product was great. Please don’t apply until you watch a few youtube tutorials and read a few good commenters tips. 1. Dont put on dry hair 2. At very least, mist hair with water. Pre-apply you products 3. Then rub on your fingers, the. pull throw hair like product. Great item - had in for a week. Due to my career, I couldn’t apply a whole bunch so it was subtle. Thanks!

This hair wax arrived on time and was sealed on the inside of the package. I have brunette hair, and the wax covered up the brown completely. The wax hardens after application but the colors were so vivid that i did not mind. It washes out excellent. I was able to wear the wax on my hair at a music festival, and was back to work on Monday with no one ever noticing my head was completely blue the day before.
