Used it in paint
I decided I'd try and make an acrylic paint out of this, so I mixed it into Liquitex gel medium and Culture Hustle's Super Base. It works well enough, it's a nice transparent color that really reminds me of phthalo blue. I don't know if it's just the difference in concentrations I used, but in the gel medium it turned a deep indigo. Now I want to try this with chlorophyll...

I love blue Spirulina as a part of my daily intake. Much more affordable than purchasing loose powder.

Honestly, almost too pretty to just swallow! No taste, normal capsule size, seems fresh. I’ll probably open some capsules & use as a “finishing” powder, still haven’t tasted it yet though

Fun with blue spirulina
I'm using the beautiful blue color to roll energy bombs. We add to smoothies and will try icing for cupcakes. I love sneaking in the antioxidants while making food look exciting.
