Review: Good extra pair of boots for a motorcycle riders - These boots surprised me. I have owned a very nice "high end" boots for a few years. I wanted to get a new pair but a different style and looked for a while. These have a good price point and look simple yet cool. When they arrived I was surprised by the good quality and how easy the zipper makes with on and off. I wear a 10.5 and these match even with thicker socks. The leather is soft for movement but not the best for the ankle in an accident. I think they could hold up in a slide situation. I'm pretty big so the weight isn't bad and good for walking around between riding. Haven't had them in a serious cold or wet situation but I feel they can keep the water out. Nice product so far and expect to hold up for a few seasons.

For not being for arch support these are extremely comfortable, I have danced for hours in these with no pain. The style is what it says the sit upper calf and have that classic biker look.

A: No these are not steel toed boots.

**Q: I have a new pair of 16" motorcycle boots i bought through amazon. they bleed color badly! is there a way to set the color permanently?**
A: Not sure what you mean by "bleed color". Assuming they arae black I can tell you that dyed leather will shed some color naturally but it doesn't bleed. The question would be if the material is leather. 
If they are new and you haven;t worn them, return them.
If you have worn them, consult a shoe-repair shop. They have magic processes, You could also check in with a leather store like Tandy or someone local to you or on the internet.

**Q: What would the calf diameter be for 11 w shoe?**
A: My calf is 17 1/2 inches and 11W fits very tight. Need to stretch it out more before I can wear them for very long at a time.

I have had these for over two years now and they still look just as they did the day i bought them. I am not easy on my shoes and these have kept up with me, the soles have taken some scuffs but no major damage and the tread on them has not let me down I have run across ice with no issue.
