I don't mind the smell - it reminds me of my childhood when going to various places in the Adirondacks that used creosote coated telephone poles as parking barriers. Anyway, I use Equate extra strength coal tar shampoo every day and this 1-2x/day, and it has greatly reduced my scalp itching, when Selsun Blue and Head and Shoulders didn't touch it. Will continue to use until it eliminates the problem.
