A: It's pedal power.  No battery.  Pedals like a bicycle.  It was a little tough for my son at first, but now he pedals it everywhere.

**Q: Can it go in reverse?**
A: This CAT construction pedal tractor is able to go in reverse.

**Q: Does it have a hitch under the back hoe to add a trailer?**
A: When the rear is detached,  there is a pin that goes backbin and can be used as a hitch. But when the back hoe is attached there is a stabilizer arm that extends, and retracts below the rear unit.
