## Description

The PetSafe Martingale Collar with Quick Snap Buckle is easy to put on and take off your dog. Martingale collars are safer than prong collars and are more comfortable for your dog to wear. This durable, nylon, martingale collar tightens when your dog pulls and loosens when he stops, so its only tight when it needs to be. These collars give you greater control during walks while also reducing the risk of your dog slipping out of their collar.

Review: Durable, Comfortable, and the Rare Martingale with a Tag Holder! - Overall Impression: This is officially our favorite collar. We’ve been using our first one since September 2022, and it’s still in such great shape that we just bought a second one as a spare for the car. Fit & Sizing: Our dog is a fluffy 40lb pup, and the Size Medium fits her perfectly. What Makes It Different: Dedicated Tag Holder: This is a huge win. Most "cheap" martingale collars don't have a spot for ID tags, but this one does. Comfort: It sits comfortably loose when she isn't pulling, which makes me feel safe letting her wear it indoors. Durability: After over three years of use on the first one, there is no fraying or hardware failure. It is worth every penny. The "Pup" Test: Our dog genuinely loves it. When we pull it out, she runs over and boops it with her nose! Minor Wishlist: I do wish they offered more colors (I’d buy even more of them!), but the blue we have is beautiful. Final Verdict: If you want a long-lasting, high-quality collar that is safe for daily wear, I highly recommend this. Please don't ever discontinue these!
Review: Great Collar - These collars are made out of durable material that can withstand even energetic and playful dogs, ensuring they remain comfortable and secure throughout the day. The sturdy clasp is easy to put on and take off, making it a convenient option for daily use. I prefer the martingale style for its gentle yet effective method of walking dogs, preventing them from slipping out of their collars. Furthermore, the martingale design discourages pulling and jumping, resulting in a more enjoyable walking experience.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great collar
*by M***E on August 6, 2026*

This has been a great collar for our dog. The only thing to know is that plastic becomes brittle, so the buckle will eventually fail. We found this out when we were camping and a deer came to visit and our dog tried to chase it, and when he reached the end of his tie out, the buckle broke and he was able to chase the deer across the campground. The collar was 5 years old, so it was probably time to replace. The price point is excellent, so we'll just start replacing the collar yearly.
