Its ergonomic polypropylene handle and integral steel guard provide comfort and safety, while the included Cor-Ex sheath ensures secure, portable storage. Designed for professionals and outdoor enthusiasts who demand efficiency and reliability in a compact, stylish package. ## Description The Cold Steel Kukri Plus Machete features the same wide, curved blade that makes our Kukris capable of delivering the kind of performance that's the envy of many swords or bushcraft tools, but with the addition of an integral solid steel guard for added protection and safety. Its full tang is completely encapsulated in a comfortable and durable polypropylene handle that has been ergonomically designed for comfort and safety, allowing you to keep a secure grip on the Machete even in the most inclement conditions. Featuring a rust resistant baked on matte black coating, the fully sharpened and expertly tempered 1055 Carbon Steel blade is safely and securely carried in a sturdy Cor-Ex sheath. ## Features - Wide Curved Kukri Blade: Forward-angled kukri blade puts weight ahead of your hand so this fixed blade machete falls into the cut, clearing brush, vines and light limbs with less effort than a straight blade - 1055 Carbon Steel Machete: 13 inch blade is 1055 high carbon steel at 2.8 mm thick, with a baked anti-rust matte finish that shrugs off wet grass, sap and damp storage between jobs - Integral Steel Guard: Solid steel guard is part of the blade rather than bolted on, keeping your fingers behind the edge when a swing bites deeper than expected on a heavy duty chop - Polypropylene Handle: Injection molded polypropylene grip is 5 inches long and shaped for a full fist, and it will not shrink, warp or rot the way a wood handle does - Cor-Ex Sheath Included: Cor-Ex sheath is included so the 17.3 ounce machete rides on a belt or in a pack, ready for camping, yard work and survival gear kits, and light enough for adults to carry all day ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00HZIF7N0 | | Best Sellers Rank | #85,100 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #145 in Camping Fixed-Blade Knives | | Blade Length | 13 inches | | Blade Material Type | Carbon Steel | | Brand Name | Cold Steel | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (1,110) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00705442012146 | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Handle Material | Polypropylene | | Included Components | Machete, Sheath | | Item Dimensions L x W | 20"L x 5"W | | Item Highlight | 13 In 1055 Carbon Blade, 2.8 mm Thick, 5 In Polypropylene Grip, 17.3 Oz, Anti Rust Matte Finish, Integral Guard | | Item Length | 18 inches | | Item Type Name | Machete | | Item Weight | 16 ounces | | Manufacturer | Cold Steel | | Manufacturer Part Number | 97KMPS | | Model Number | CSMCHTE | | Number of Items | 2 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Style | Kukri Plus Machete | | UPC | 705442012146 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | Manufacturer Warranty | ## Product Details - **Blade Length:** 13 inches - **Blade Material:** Carbon Steel - **Brand:** Cold Steel - **Handle Material:** Polypropylene - **Style:** Kukri Plus Machete ## Images ![Kukri Plus Curved Machete with Cor-Ex Sheath, Black, 18 in Long - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51dk9wQPGpL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - Cold Steel All Purpose Tactical Machete with Sheath, Great for Clearing Brush, Survival, Camping and Outdoor Activities, Kukri Plus Machete - Cold Steel Kukri Trainer, Black - Cold Steel Royal Kukri Machete - 97KMIGS --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ec/products/15071641-kukri-plus-curved-machete-with-cor-ex-sheath-black-18](https://www.desertcart.ec/products/15071641-kukri-plus-curved-machete-with-cor-ex-sheath-black-18) --- *Product available on Desertcart Ecuador* *Store origin: EC* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
