We ended up order the large instead of extra large and it was a great choice. Using the seat measurement was the best way to find the correct size. We have an overstuffed, wide reclining couch with two cushions. We do not use the full recline, only the leg support. It wraps the arms and covers the seat and enough of the legs to work perfectly. It does not move around and is easy to cleanup. Our dog is happy up there and it looks much better than the blanket that covered the couch earlier.

Listen. I read reviews for weeks trying to find the right cover. We have a newly diagnosed diabetic cat who something will pee on the couch. If you don’t know diabetics cats can sometimes do this because they drink a ton of water and pee a TONNNNN. A ton.Anyway, I ordered a cover from another brand and when it arrived I knew it would not work. So I ordered this. It has a very soft side but it is stiff to an extent and has a grippy back. We put another cover over top of this on our couch so it doesn’t move around and I absolutely love it. It definitely works. I even brought it over to the sink and rinse out the one spot because it contained the Pee to one small spot and when I was rinsing it out in the sink I had my hand on the underside in my hand never got wet. it was amazing! It is washable and can go In The dryer. It is a pain in the butt to put it in the washer in the dryer. And the groupies make a weird sound in the dryer that makes it sound like somebody’s dying in there. I even had to double check and it was just the cover. Anyway... If you want something that can hold pretty much any amount of liquid without absorbing through to the other side and you want something that is as soft as possible while doing this. This is the item you want. If you value pure softness over absorbency then go with something else. But I guarantee you that this is the best thing for holding significant amount of liquid. I am sitting on it right now while I am writing this review.

I ordered this heavy, expensive, couch cover hoping it would stay in place. It is constantly falling off or moving around. Looks disheveled.

I REALLY like and am VERY PLEASED with this product. I have a power recliner with microfiber cover. It is beautiful, but I keep towels on the seat in case of "accidental" spills and such. I also have a cat who, like most cats when pleased, knead their claws into the furniture OR YOUR LEG. Ouch!The spill resistant is a big plus. Although I just received delivery JUST NOW, I have it on my recliner hoping it was the right size. My recliner is cushy and very wide. It fit perfectly. It even reaches down almost to the bottom of the footrest when in maximum position. Not such a biggie except dust and crumps fall between the openings between sections and the cushy-ness is barely existent so not much padding. Even though this is not padded, for some reason it makes a difference in that respect as well.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. The product description was exact and not misleading at all. I was not familiar with the "MIGHTY MONKEY" (Cute brand name by the way) and always hesitant about ordering from third party sellers but the product was fulfilled by Amazon and that "closed the deal" feeling pretty confident that Amazon would not be fulfilling a product if it did not think the product was up to their standards.

I purchased this sofa cover to replace an old cover that I’ve had for many years. It has been a challenge finding a cover to fit as the sofa is extra large and has a deep seat…most covers I tried fell short. I am thrilled to have finally found one that not only fits but is comfortable, looks great, and is very affordable! I can’t yet attest to the ease of cleaning because it’s only been in use for a short time…it will be a test though when the time comes as we have a Black Lab that calls the sofa hers (and she has had no complaints about the new cover at all)!

I love the MIGHTY MONKEY Premium Slip and Water Resistant Oversize Sofa Slipcover. This product has exceeded my expectations! I was very surprised when I received it: the texture, the weight, the nonslip backing, the quality, and the color. Follow their sizing guide, and the slipcover you'll receive will very generously fit your sofa! We fit three of us on the sofa, and the nonslip backing held the cover in place on the back , arms, and seat. It comes with two straps to ensure a more fitted look, but I left them off since I take the cover off whenever anyone visits. As you can see, the cover completely covers the seat, the back, and the arms, with plenty of material left over for a more plush sofa. I also love the color: it matches my sofa almost exactly! The suede-like material feels velvety to the touch and is very comfortable to sit on. It collects the cat hair from Kitty, and protects the couch from her baths, which makes me very happy! This has been a very hot summer, and we've come in and sat on the couch after being outside, and, frankly, I've been confident that our sweat won't go through the cover to our couch. I haven't washed it yet, but I do plan on doing so. Even though this is "oversized", it'll fit comfortably in a front loading machine. I've owned other, similar covers, that were skimpy on the fit, didn't wear or wash well, and weren't really waterproof. I'm very happy with this slipcover, and highly recommend it.

I am disappointed in this product. I paid more for this item than I could have with similar products because of the straps and backing that would hold the covers in place. I bought new furniture & want to protect it from kids. They are constantly in motion, so I needed a cover that wouldn’t slip out of place easily. I have had it on my loveseat for 2 days & the piece of fabric that holds the strap in place popped off. I’m guessing it’s only a matter of time until this happens on my couch, too. I should have just spent less on a different brand because now there’s nothing to hold the back in place 😔 I will say, the fabric quality is good and if the straps would work, I would have been happy with the purchase.

Todo bien excepto que los resortes que trae son complicados de colocar, de plano yo no los usé. Trae por abajo una textura que sirve de "grip" anti deslizante no estira, es un poco grueso y por lo mismo no se adapta al 100% al futón, lo compré para proteger mi sillón del uso contante de mi perrito y creo que servirá.

Quedé muy satisfecho con mi compra. Había comprado otro anteriormente, pero la calidad me decepcionó, así que lo regresé inmediatamente el mismo día que me llegó y me decidí a pedir estos otros, y no pude haber hecho mejor elección por relación calidad/precio... estos protectores de sillón son gruesos, de muy buena tela, con una textura suave al taco en la parte que queda expuesta para sentarse y con otra textura antideslizante en la parte de abajo que hace contacto con el sillón. En cuanto a las medidas, le quedaron perfectamente a mis dos sillones, además de que ya traen las bandas elásticas para ajuste y fijación al sillón (trae dos bandas por funda/sillón, una para ajustarlo en la parte de arriba del respaldo y otra para ajustarlo en la parte del asiento). Los recomiendo totalmente! Sin duda valen lo que cuestan.

It's comfortable, but it slides around a bit. I am regularly adjusting the cover because it wrinkles all the time. Customer support is so-so at best. I contacted them to ask whether I can use their product on my leather couch. I received a response saying it was made for leather couches. This didn't address my concern regarding complaints I have read from others about it damaging their leather couches. My follow up question remains unanswered.

It looks alright. I bought it mainly because it was oeko Tex. However nowhere on the packaging or label did it state this. So I believe it’s probably not oeko tex which is disappointing.
