**Q: Are the mits lined with a waterproof material or porous so your hands are always in the “sauce”?**
A: These are great mits, but alas you will be sauced. I've got 32 years detailing experience & I've never come across a dry for your hand wash mit.

**Q: What is the GSM of the fabric?**
A: It's difficult to say exactly.  If I compare it to a known 350 gsm MF towel it would be 600 or better.

I didn't expect much for the price and since I didn't buy a name brand, car detailer's recommended wash mitt. I needed it fast and thought I'd give it a try. I have small hands, but it would for sure fit large hands, it didn't slip off my hand and didn't get too heavy at all. In addition, one of the best features is it has a little loop on the inside to curl your finger around so it's not falling off or slipping all over the place. It is relatively soft, in a way that seems perfectly safe for a car's finish. It soaks up a ton of soap, in a good way, I hardly ever had to dip back in the soap but I did in order to rinse off any dirt, but I really didn't need to. It also washed up perfectly in the wash and on low dryer setting. Highly recommend.
