They have three silicone bands at the top for a none slip grip. **Q: I'm 5'4", thighs 24" at their widest part, but i want these to come up almost all the way to my butt. should i go for size c or will that be too big?** A: Hi Alice, We are similar in size I'm 5'4" and my thighs are 22-23" at their widest part. I found that a C was too big and a bit loose to adequately stay in place throughout the evening. The B fit me perfect and I was able to have them almost all the way to my butt. I hope that helps you. **Q: What if it does slip down? what am i doing wrong? i went based off my weight and got size d so i don’t think that’s the issue. no roll, just slip down** A: I’d try to go one size down. I think they are slipping down because the band isn’t snug enough to grip. Usually they roll when they are too tight in my experience. WORTH EVERY PENNY!! i love thigh highs. my honey loves me in thigh highs. a match made in heaven. i have many to mix and match with outfits for fun or to be extra sexy. you know all the potential issues with them in general- they roll down at the top. they snag easily... they create the unsexy "thigh muffin top" (even when you do not have big thighs, but merely a curvy body- 5'5", 115lbs)... this was my first pair of Kix`ies and it most assuredly will not be my last. i finally Did It... dove in and paid for them. and I AM IN LOVE WITH THEM!!! so comfortable. yes. i saw an ad for them years ago and then forgot the name. came across them again and thought- okay. they stayed up for 4 hours without any issue. they are quality. they do not pinch the top of your thighs. they go on easily without twisting about as you pull them up.
