The rich Gothic atmosphere, moody score, Foley'd sound effects, offbeat plots and quirky characters transport you from the daily hum-drum to a moody dreamworld where anything is possible."Devil's Kiss" is a great example - the film has all the intimacy one can only find in low budget movies, and older ones at that. The agonizingly tired "boy meets girl" plot-line is refreshingly absent. So are all the other hackney'd cliches.The blu ray is gorgeous and very filmic. They have preserved the original aspect ratio and kept the sound and picture clean but true to original intent.
