The first is a simple watch like unit, about the size of an old digital wrist watch from the 90's. It's able to start Video or take still, it comes in the kit complete with wrist strap. The video quality is sharp, colours are vibrant, and the electronic image stabilisation does a great job of smoothing out footage when walking, cycling, or recording action scenes.The touch screen is responsive and makes navigating the menus easy, while the included waterproof case and mounting accessories add excellent value. WiFi connectivity worked well for transferring footage, and the remote control is a handy extra for capturing shots from a distance.Whether you're using it for holidays, outdoor activities, or underwater filming, it performs far better than expected at this price point. But this, I love this camera. It's an affordable camera and it doesn't shake when I record my motorcycle rides. The picture is very clear!I bought a chin mount for my helmet for this camera.It's easy to use.Have a look at my video and you see how nicely it records!I got two batteries with it. I recorded about 2hr ride with one battery and i still had some battery left on that. I always bring the extra one with me in case i need to change it at some point.When it records it records videos about 14min long each, when I get home i watch them and download the ones I want to keep. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brave 7 LE replacement: Much better than v50x *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 19 May 2021* OK, so this is an updated review after the first v50x unit I was sent was clearly defective; image quality was just shocking. Hats off to Akaso though; after leaving a fairly negative review of it, I was contacted by a very polite customer service agent who offered to replace it with the brave 7 model. After confirming shipping details, a replacement unit arrived next day in the post. So Akaso get 5 stars for customer service.I can happily confirm that the Brave 7 produces footage of much higher quality and is pretty decent for the price point. It's still not perfect: the camera applies quite aggressive smoothing to the footage which can result in loss of detail when filming up close, but if you plan to use it as intended as an action cam then it's more than good enough. The contrast and exposure are good and the picture is fairly sharp, although it does lose a bit of sharpness towards the edges of the frame. The wireless remote works up to about 2m, so would perhaps be useful if you had the camera strapped to a helmet or similar. For longer range remote control, the WiFi worked for me up to about 5m. Build quality is good. The rubbery plastic casing looks like it'll take a few knocks and the ports and covers all have rubber gaskets. Buttons and touch screen are responsive and easy to use. Overall, it's a decent budget camera.
