This wah has a battery door on the bottom so you can't use a full "slab" of wood or plastic across the bottom. It just won't fit right. The StageTrix is two separate pieces that install very easily and leave easy access to the battery door.My only issue is that the screws would not go in deep enough into the wah itself to hold the StageTrix pieces of wood/velcro in place fully. I emailed StageTrix direclty and asked if they could just send some more washers to me. They got them in the mail to me immediately and Wah-lah!
