At least, that's one way to look at it! These pocket-sized pliers pack multiple functions into a tiny package that fits on a keychain. The Vise gives you more than plier capabilities thanks to a variety of handy tools. From the Manufacturer This Gerber keychain tool has improved function over current keychain tools in stylish compact size. Better value in comparison at same size and function. The key features and benefits are hide away lanyard ring allows for comfortable carry in pocket or attachable to keychain. Intuitive opening in lightweight, compact style. Two-blades for multiple applications. New bottle opener design for better leverage for effective cap removal and ease of use. 20-percent smaller in size than clutch and shortcut. Easy to access with larger nail nicks. Review: Multi-colored pliers - Works perfectly for its size Review: Nice little tool for quick tasks and very small and compact. - Have this and a couple of the Gerber Dime. Think I like the Dime a little better, but for the price it's hard to beat. But have to confess, picked up a couple of products tagged by Cabela's during their November sale that seem to be identical. Paid $5.99 for them, so almost 50% less. Well see if they hold up as the same as the Vise does. Also have to add in about Gerber's Customer Service. One of the Dime's I purchased last year had one of the outer scales fall off. Contacted Customer service and they emailed me a return/repair form. Filled it out, sent it in, and in about 10 days they sent a brand new one to me. It's the only time I've had an issue with a Gerber Product and I've had a lot of them. That's a win on two fronts in my book. ## Features - metal - 9-IN-1 KEYCHAIN AND MULTI TOOL: Features spring loaded needle nose pliers, fine edge blade, serrated blade, Phillips Driver, small flat driver, medium driver, lanyard ring, bottle opener, and file - COMPACT AND CONVENIENT: Lightweight, and comfortable to carry in your pocket or attach to a keychain - EASE OF USE: Opening of tools and butterfly opening of the tough needle nose pliers is intuitive and the cross-hatched grip on the handles makes for a reliable hold - VERSATILE EDC GEAR: A serrated and plain edge blade for multiple applications - QUALITY CRAFTED: Stainless steel components for longevity - CONVENIENT SIZE: 2.4" closed length, 1.5" blade length and 4" overall length; 2.5 oz weight; Backed by the Gerber Guarantee, a limited lifetime warranty ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001QVKSKE | | Best Sellers Rank | #198,172 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #658 in Multitools | | Brand | Gerber | | Brand Name | Gerber | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 1,762 Reviews | | Drive System | Centre Drive | | Folded Size | 13.97 x 15.24 x 1.91 cm | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00013658111721 | | Included Components | Gerber Vise Pocket Tool, Black [31-000021] | | Item Dimensions | 6 x 5.5 x 0.75 inches | | Item Highlight | Compact keychain multi tool, spring-loaded pliers, EDC everyday carry, camping, hiking, under $30, 31-000021 | | Item Type Name | Gerber Vise Pocket Tool, Black [31-000021] | | Item Weight | 2 ounces | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 6 x 5.5 x 0.75 inches | | Manufacturer | Gerber | | Manufacturer Part Number | 1019242 | | Material | Aluminum , Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Aluminum, Stainless Steel | | Model Number | 31-000021 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | UPC | 977175676258 097914380960 013658111721 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Gerber - **Color:** Black - **Item Weight:** 2 ounces - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 6 x 5.5 x 0.75 inches - **Material:** Aluminum, Stainless Steel ## Images ![Vise EDC Multitool with Pliers and Pocket Knife, Keychain, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51QgM1GW1BL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Multi-colored pliers *by T***N on September 16, 2026* Works perfectly for its size ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice little tool for quick tasks and very small and compact. *by D***N on December 1, 2016* Have this and a couple of the Gerber Dime. The Vice lacks the scissors & tweezers. But the Vice has an extra serrated blade along with the regular slip joint spey/pen type blade. It's thicker than the Gerber dime but gets rid of the annoying protruding bottle opener the Dime has. They both have the same tiny file with the 2 dimensional Phillips, which is better used at a 45Β° angle than fully deployed. I wish Gerber would have placed the keyring/lanyard hole on the other end, away from the blade use end. Use a Nitize lil S beaner to attach it to your keys or whatever, so you can take whatever off before deploying the blades for use. Light duty pliers, not designed for big nuts. ## Frequently Bought Together - Gerber Gear Vise Pocket Tool, Black [31-000021] - Gerber Gear Dime 12-in-1 Mini EDC Multitool - Needle Nose Pliers, Pocket Knife, Keychain, Bottle Opener - Gifts for Men, EDC Gear and Equipment - Black - Gerber Gear Splice Pocket Knife EDC Multitool with Blade, Scissors, Screwdriver and Bottle Opener, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ec/products/1412174-vise-edc-multitool-with-pliers-and-pocket-knife-keychain-black](https://www.desertcart.ec/products/1412174-vise-edc-multitool-with-pliers-and-pocket-knife-keychain-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Ecuador* *Store origin: EC* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
