The wine key is a German design, made of stainless steel, with a two-stage lever, synthetic wood-grain side-piece grips, teflon-coated corkscrew, and a curved, non-serated, capsule knife. When new, the knife is beautifully honed for easily cutting any foil or plastic wine bottle capsules, but it will dull with extensive use over time. The upside is the knife is German stainless and it can be professionally re-sharpened to a like-new hone.
