**Q: Would this be too frustrating to figure out for a 2 1/2 year old?**
A: Maybe but it's a good pairing with the book which someone could read to the 2 1/2 year old and use it as a demonstration of a caterpillar turning into a butterfly even tho it doesn't really happen like that.

**Q: In what country is this made?**
A: Gave it as a gift. Probably China like everything else these days.  Although under license it was nicely made.
