What a deal!
This thing is quality. The aluminum tube pieces fit together for a rigid pole with no problem. You will likely need to drill some extra holes to customize the exact length, but shouldn't need to cut anything. Ingenious design with grooves for the straps and clips to grab the pool cover. The frame is stainless and solid. The crank handle is well made and works great. I expect it to last a long time!

Nice for the price
For the price, the reel works well. Everything is very sturdy and well designed. The biggest draw back are the screws used to connect the different sections of tubing. They are two short and the treads are not deep enough. They would not go in the holes very well and then kept falling out... easy fix though: I went to lowes and got SS screws the next size up and twice as long, with a tapered end. Less than $10... if the manufacturer included these it would be 5 stars.

Everything and more reel.
The pool cover reel was more than expected. Sturdy and easy to put together. I have used if dozens of times to roll up my pool cover which I use to keep the pool warm this fall. Easy to put together and they have thought out items like the best way to hook to your pool cover. I'm very happy with this item.

when in service will not automaticly turn off.
Shipped and received as listed terms.I had used the meter for testing and worked well, I liked the large display with volts and HZ without changing any dials. . I made one mistake , I was called away while test a socket and left meter attached , of course, when meter senses any voltage it automatically comes on, well it also stays on, as long as you have a voltage present. I didn't return for several days and the meter batteries had completed. I took them out and they were dead . I texted the vendor for their advice as I was not sure I put new batteries in if they would just die again.. After receiving vendors reply that it will stay on if you leave it in service. I replaced batteries and all is forgive.. vendor was very tentative and informed me of what I did and told me to change batteries and if any further problem to contact them.. Also will mention I received 2 email conversation in a 20 hour period , which I consider fantastic customer service. brief and informative.

Very well constructed and fairly easy to put together by myself. Stainless steel is awesome and operates very well.

Good quality good aesthetics
It's very easy to construct and good quality material. It looks good and not cheap plastic. The price was perfect. The only thing is the width is not adjustable gradually it's either 3 pieces or 5 pieces which can be too wide. Overall a good product.

Great customer service
The pole was to weak to hold our pool cover it started bending, and when trying to unreel and cover the pool it kept tipping over. The service was incredible though they answered me right away and made sure I was taken care of.

I have an heavy solar cover that is 42ft long, and this reel works great.
