As you can see from my photos, it stands well on my IKEA( BILLY) bookcase. What I like: •Sturdy feel and quality to it. • Metallic colour gives it a modern look which is suited for aesthetics in an office or bedroom. • A lot of information on it despite it being 25cm in diameter. • Big enough for display , yet small enough to fit neatly in the SpAcE of a book shelve. •Sturdy non slip base to hold the globe. What I don’t like: • It attracts dust which is visible, but that has nothing to do with the product. That is just the nature of this material. A 2 second job with a microfibre cloth does the trick. Update: I was about to throw the box away and discovered it also acts like a traveling case with hidden handles that can be folded for use when commuting. A very nice and convenient way to move this globe safely from place to place.
