I received the juicer in the mail and followed the directions for first use (putting crackers/bread though it). I then washed the juicer and allowed it to dry. I noticed that within the juicer there were spots where the metal had rusted, and these were key places where the juice was going to strain out. I thought, "hey maybe the crackers and bread were too rough on the juicer and I just damaged it somehow", even though the instructions tell you to put bread and crackers in and grind them before first use. However, this was not the case, because I realized that the outside of the juicer had various spots that were also rusting and I had not touched the outside of the juicer. I then tried to run more crackers and bread through the juicer, which was the advice given to me by the vendor from whom I purchased the item. The rust just came back after I washed the juicer. It is possible that this dilemma is isolated to my specific juicer, but if I were you I would not take the chance. My advice would be to look for a juicer that is made out of stainless steel or some combination of metal and plastic that won't rust. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Paint issue *by G***N on Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2012* I found when I assembled the juicer and began to use it that the silver paint on the "worm" -- the part that squeezes the vegetables -- was wearing off. Where was the paint going? Into the drink?
