The upgraded motor drives a larger helical blade and finishes a No.2 pencil in 3 to 5 seconds, rated for over 10,000 sharpenings. Let the motor do the work instead of pressing down: the blade and the pencil both stay cooler that way, and the point comes out cleaner. - UL LISTED, MODEL S230 — This electric pencil sharpener is UL listed and takes 100 pencils back to back without stalling. A bigger helical blade and a stronger motor than a standard electric sharpener mean a full class can sharpen in one sitting. Suited to teachers, students, artists, and anyone who sharpens all day. - COLORED AND GRAPHITE PENCILS — Takes No.2 graphite, colored pencils, and hard-core art pencils, so one heavy duty pencil sharpener covers the classroom set and the art room. The helical blade gives a clean point without chewing the wood. Very soft-core pencils are better sharpened by hand, since a wax core can clog any powered blade. - TWO AUTOMATIC SAFETY STOPS — This commercial pencil sharpener shuts the motor off if the shavings tray is removed or not seated, and stops on its own if you sharpen too many pencils in a row, so it cannot run hot or spin with the tray open. Non-skid foot pads keep it steady on a desk or counter. - CORDED 120V, ALWAYS READY — Plugs into any standard US outlet and stays ready: no battery to charge, no power fading halfway down a stack of pencils. Insert the pencil and the motor starts; pull it out when the note changes. For a sharpener that lives on the same desk every school day, plugged in is the simple way to run it. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07PBT2K43 | | Additional Features | Heavy Duty | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,451 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #14 in Pencil Sharpeners | | Brand Name | AFMAT | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (19,780) | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 6.5"D x 3.15"W x 3.55"H | | Manufacturer | AFMAT | | Manufacturer Part Number | PS13 | | Material Type | Metal, Plastic, Stainless Steel | | Model Number | PS13 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Power Source | Corded Electric - US Plug 120V 60Hz | | Specific Uses For Product | Color Pencil, Graphite Pencil | | Target Audience | Teachers, students, artists, professionals | | UPC | 704619427561 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | We offer 2 year warranty from the purchase date. | ## Product Details - **Brand:** AFMAT - **Color:** Black - **Material:** Metal, Plastic, Stainless Steel - **Power Source:** Corded Electric - US Plug 120V 60Hz - **Specific Uses For Product:** Color Pencil, Graphite Pencil ## Images ![PS13 Heavy Duty Electric Pencil Sharpener for Classroom, Corded Plug in Pencil Sharpener, 6.5-8mm No.2 & Colored Pencils, UL Listed, 10,000+ Sharpenings, Commercial Grade School Home Office - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Ik-jrFOML.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Number Of Items** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this sharpener work with colored pencils?
