Timex Intelligent Quartz Analog Compass Watch

It's a bit big for my small wrist but it works well, is easy to use and to set, with very detailed directions. I agree with other comments that sometimes the hands are hard to see against the face of the watch but this is a minor issue to me. More interestingly, after a week the compass suddenly would no longer point to north. I re-calibrated it and it returned to normal. I must have brought it close to a source of magnetism, but just to be safe I'm going to get the additional 4 year warranty for $5. Today the watch helped me drive, when at certain turns I wasn't sure which way to go I just hit the compass button and right away I knew which turn to take. Overall I'm very happy with the watch and with Timex watches in general.

I do like this watch. Looks good! The compass is a bit hard to use (perhaps it is me and not the watch). I gave it four stars because of the band. The band does look good; however, the holes to adjust the band are too far apart and this results in either a too loose band or a too tight band. Not sure how I could change this. The holes are oblong versus round, so making another hole would be more challenging. Oh well, the watch is still nice, though I feel the price is a bit steep.

I wanted this to be a great watch so badly! I actually bought the black version with the rubber band and it came with a dead battery! Timex can only replace the battery due to the sensitivity with the electronic compass!!!! Keep this in mind when purchasing. Anyway I returned that one and got this one and upon opening it the crown fell out of the case! I put it back in and screwed it in. Then after about a week it fell out again but this time while I didn't notice it, so it was lost. Returned it for a refund. Loved the watch but build quality was sub par. Also the compass activation was too easy to accidentally activate. It beeps when this happens and also when it deactivates. This was always happening when putting my hand in and out of coat pockets! They should have made it harder to activate since this obviously uses a lot of battery power.Style is easily four stars but quality is two stars, thus the three star rating.

1 day after the warranty ran out, it stopped being able to tell time accurately for more than 10 minutes at a stretch (sometimes fast, sometimes slow). then shortly after that the compass now only points to 6:00 (give a take a minute/degree or two). Now one of the dial knobs has fallen out.I have not put this watch through any unreasonable stress. In fact it has been used quite lightly, and hasn't even be so much as damp, or dropped.

I'd give this 4 stars and maybe 4.5 if the compass really worked.It keeps perfect time, it's nice looking and wears nicely.The problem I have is that I didn't read the reviews like so many of us did not do before purchase.The compass function is a joke.I don't care how close you follow the directions on how to set it the needle always points to either N or S.If you try to go west the needle shows east and vice versa.Not sure what Timex means by inteliquartz but it can't have to do with the function of the compass.There are other more qualified and better watches with the compass out there to choose from.So unless Timex fixes this functionality problem I'd purchase another brand.

Beautifull watch, soft back colour, compass works well.Use the indiglo light system more ofen than i first thought.Surelly to read time with a higher contrast between needles and back colour.Dimentions makes it preaty big, for sure you know when you wear it, and when you miss it...Know timex since little kid and have never been disappointed.It's a simple and solid watch for a very reasonable price.

Great little watch. Only grip is the strap is too 'spongie' and appears to stretch when worn. Even when tightened when first put on, by the end of the day, it stretches enough that I could rebuckle it to the next hole.

This watch is a very nice one which my wife bought me for Christmas, it does what it says on the box.Comfortable fit, there's a plus my wife says I'll never get lost with the built in compass.

mein Mann trägt normalerweise keine Uhr, aber von dieser ist er so angetan, daß er regelmäßig anlegtund sehr zufrieden ist.
