**Q: is this made in a nut facility or does it contain nuts**
A: I searched the package and there is no mention of anything about nuts or a nut factory.This is a organic high quality product. There is a phone # 800-343-7833 for contacting company.Call them and ask

**Q: How long is the shelf life?**
A: I keep mine in the refrigerator and I keep it sealed.  I've used it past the 3-4 months but I admit, I use it in baked items and sauces and haven't had any issues or noticed any change in taste or smell.  I don't do smoothies and perhaps the flavor is stronger there.

**Q: what is the expiration date of this product**
A: The official date will be different in every package. I'm not sure if the shelf life un-opened but it will last a few months after opened. Best refrigerated longer if frozen
