The extra large would cover you biggest dogs but the 50 pound dog needs a different package. I recommend you dont try to mix up the weight dosages. Its chemical and i have seen the result of too much flea chemicals on a cat. My opinion is buy the weight size that fit your dog. I did not use the "buy it again" button because I had the same fake stuff that you apparently had. I did a search and treated the transaction like I had never had the bad stuff. What I have this time appears to be the real thing. A couple of stickers from Frontline about how this is their product and it looks a lot more like the actual Frontline product. The other stuff was too viscous and really did not come out of the applicator very well. Of course, the dog kept scratching which was a good clue that something was wrong. It seems effective but I use it as a preventative so I haven't needed it for an infestation. Good value for money and vet recommended. My 4 dogs do not show any irritation or side effects! P.s.
