Not Easy To Properly Install
Even though they are a bitc.. to install, once you get the wires set into the grooves properly, the strength of the binding appears quite strong. If you have very stiff wire, it makes it harder to get the wire set. I would surmise that the sides of the clamps are just a bit overall too short and therefore the wire get stuck easily on the top of the clamp sides. I use a pliers and then a hammer and tap, to tap the wires into the grooves as I slowly tightened them. If you had to do a bunch of them two hands would not be enough if under a time constraint. It was a DIY job for me and I really like the way it turned out both in strengh and looks. It just took me longer, in the dead of summer, than I initially anticipated. I wanted to secure my aluminum carport better before the hurricane season comes. I was able to tighten the wires so tight I could play them and make a sound like a upright base.

Good useful product
Cable clamps seem to be very good and are doing a great job in securing the ends of my new washing line.
