this wifi smart plug set up was easy. I downloaded the Smart Life app and connected each plug to wifi one by one, virtually instantly and without problem. After naming the plugs, I linked the Smart Life service in the Google Home app, and there was each plug.Not a single disconnect ever from wifi. I'd highly recommend these.

A quality product that worked as soon as I downloaded the app and added the socket to the app.Within a minute of starting I was using my iPhone to control the socket.It does what it claims to do and with ease....OK only works with 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi but it says that in the product details so if you want one to work with 5Ghz then don't buy, but if 2.4Ghz works for you then go buy it. I'll be buying a few more now...

I am First purchase of WiFi smart plugs, took a while to set up, Connects seamlessly to Alexa, Does it's job! Recommend!

I bought these because I live alone and I like my lights to turn on before I get home. and These plugs are amazing and with the “smart life” app, I will highly recommend these to my friends!

I purchased two of these smart plugs and as I use the free PlusMinus application from the Google play store, I added the plugs to this application and I assigned one to the kettle and one to an electric blanket, I also added to Google Home, assigning them to individual rooms so they can be controlled via voice using Google Assistant either through my smart Android TV remote control or my smart-phone. Amazon Alexa is just as easy to set-up too.Ignore negative comments, they are obviously from people who don't fully understand technology and believe me you don't need to be have a degree or diploma to set up and use these smart plugs.The PlusMinus application also controls other makes of smart plugs, smart bulbs etc, so you don't need to download lots of different applications for differing makes of smart devices. You can also use timing functions and turn on/off at sunset/sunrise etc. You can also use Automation, where you can control the plugs or bulbs depending on your requirements.I would recommend 100% - and I am very happy with my purchase which is great value compared to very similar products and this product goes a long way into making your home smarter.

At present, I can't really give a fair review, as I yet failed to get the device to link-up with efamily cloud App. I have a BT smart hub which runs at both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. Normally, you can connect devices of both band widths without issue. So I even tried splitting the bands, and switching off smart se-up. All to no avail. I am now going to try using a different App? If not will return smartplug. Shame, as it seems a well made device.

Took an age to see e family cloud app asking for a password but which password. App would not provide a passcode. Ended up re doing the whole process from a second phone which was successful. So rapid installation actually took me in excess of 4 frustrating hour. That said it does work perfectly with Alexa.

This plug is amazing. I have purchased other 3rd party Alexa enabled devices in the past and for Alexa to discover them you have to set them up first using a third party app which can take a while and is annoying. I did think this was gonna be the same but for £8.98 I thought nothing of it as the amazon one is £24.99. To my surprise pretty much 10 secs after plugging it in Alexa discovered it and that was it, it was set up. For the price and ease of use you can’t go wrong.
