Stuhrling OriginalMen's 747M.01 Atrium Elite Date Silver

I like the look of this watch, but there are two main reasons as to why I am returning it. The first is that the metal blue hands are hard to read against the background of the watch face. The second reason, and this one boggles my mind, is that the numbers are in Roman Numerals, which is fine and not a problem. The problem is that the number "4" on the watchface is "IIII", not "IV". It may be a nit pick, but it is wrong, "IIII" doesn't exist as a numeral, it's not an actual number, and if you want a nice looking watch, having a Roman Numeral that doesn't exist on the face of the watch shows incompetence somewhere down the line and diminishes the look of the watch. It cannot be unseen, let's put it that way.Tells time well, and works as a watch, just the above is the reason why I'm returning it.

I've been using this watch for a bit now and while it does look quite nice and wear comfortably, there are a few issues that make it somewhat inconvenient. First, it seems to wind down fairly quickly; it only lasts around 12 hours and the automatic winding doesn't quite seem to do the job. Secondly, the clasp on the band doesn't want to fasten and it usually takes me a couple tries to get it together properly. the benefit to the band is that you can easily re-size it without a specific tool. Finally, the crown is quite difficult to pull out when time adjustment is needed (which happens more than I would like). All in all, it's an ok watch and it looks very nice, but if you want something that you don't have to keep after you would be better off looking elsewhere...and you would likely pay less as well.

This is a reasonably-priced, self-winding watch, which is both affordable and terrifically attractive. I love mechanical watches and this ranks among my favorites. My only concern is the clasp, so much so that I tend to take off my watch when I hang my left arm out of my convertible when driving. I would hate to lose this watch. They should improve the clasp, but beyond that I love this watch.

Watch came in an awesome little box. Was not defected at all like other reviews state. Only issue was trying to figure out how to move the latch portion on the mesh band. Figured they would have a How To as part of their booklet. Had to go to youtube to figure out out, but other than that, nice looking watch.

Very luxurious and sophisticated looking watching. It really stands out and received many compliments. I love the unique watch band. Overall, the watch is light and durable.

Well everything went well according to purchase and delivery , about the watch, it would literally stop moving if I left it half a day not wearing it, but the main problem I faced was it running too fast. Other than that I am pleased with its looking, weight, feel on wrist and its material.

I love this watch, adjusting the band is easy and I don't have a single complaint.It comes with a really nice box, a cleaning cloth, and some instructions as well as the warranty.People always ask me about the watch and I love telling them that it doesn't even need batteries, the skeleton view is mesmerizing as well.. While bored I find myself watching it from time to time

I've had this watch for about two weeks now, and I must say I truly enjoy it.For those whom have stated it must be winded every couple of hours, such as after sleeping, I do not encounter this issue. I have gone to bed without it for over 10 hours, and the time was still correct.Would buy again!

Bought 2nd hand at 1/4 of the original price because of minor scratches around the winder which clearly confused the original purchaser who tried unsuccessfully to pop it out to set the time even though the lower edge has a recess for a finger nail or knife. Otherwise the watch is as described in the advert for the brand new one.I have clearly received a great bargain at a very good price and the watch has kept perfect time in the 3 hours prior to writing this review. This automatic Stuhrling watch complements the other 3 Stuhrling Chronographs I already posses.

This watch was a gift for a friend however the box was really dodgy and broken when the parcel was unrapped. We were shocked to see it ...we had to take the black exterior off and leave only the orange box in order to avoid making a fool of ourselves. The product looks like it is second hand and to be honest I REGRET THIS PURCHASE! It looks like it stayed for years abandoned in a warehouse therefore the price. do not buy!!!!

My second Stuhrling Original and watch this one is, wasen't to sure at first having a metal strap but is is as comfortable as my leather strapp.its got a nice weight to it and just oozes sophistication.

A cracking watch at a cracking price, has a real quality feel to it and really nicely put together. Will definitely buy another if the price is right>

The watch is weighty, very nice to look at, is comfortable to wear and the strap is easy to adjust for a good fit. On top of that it comes well presented in it's box.
