While the product description says the lid of this jar is "made of lead-free metal and has no BPA ensuring no chemicals ever leach into food or beverages," that doesn't mean that it's good for every use. I got these in order to sous vide yogurt; after our first 18 hour bath, rust became apparent around the outside of the lid. I've not opened these yet but am worried that my money was poorly spent. Additionally, these lids are an odd size so getting a replacement is going to be a pain.

I have a ton of various sizes of Ball jars for canning and stuff. I now make my dogs stew weekly and thought these would be easier than 4 jars. But honestly, one of them had an air buying the glass at the bottom that came off while soaking with warm soapy water. They aren't terrably easy to clean with small hands either. I'm going back to my Ball wide mouth jars instead.

I have one top I drilled holes in and use a paper towel underneath. I use the other lid when travelling. I really like the size of these for my bread starter. There are nicer ones online but much more expensive. This worked perfectly for me and was pretty inexpensive.

Otherwise seems to be a fine product. Air-tight and sturdy.I don't believe these are standard "wide-mouth" dimensions, if interchangeability of lids is important to you.I'm going to return and and order the gallon sized jars instead, because the written description misled me to believe these are 10" tall, when in fact they are 6" tall, making these completely useless for what I was buying them for.

I purchased for my sourdough starter jar. Mouth is wide enough for adding flour for feeding and stirring without making a mess and perfect size for storing the amount of starter that I want to store. Very pleased.

These jars are the perfect size to store my cucumber salad in. The opening is wide enough to get the cucumbers out. I'm very pleased with this product.

Used this to store my protein drink powder. Lids are flimsy and hard to apply. Rusted on outer edge first time in dishwasher. Definitely would not buy again.

Are use these for my milk Kafir every day and they are easy to clean as I can get my hand inside!

Really haply with the size and convenience of these. They have a wide opening so it's much easier to use a big spoon to collect my olives from the jar without slilling oil on the countertop. The only negative is that the seal is really sticky which can make it hard to open sometimes.

These jars are exaclty what we needed to store and bring to table our sauerkraut - the purple cabage doesn't spill over because these jars' wide mouth makes it so much easier to serve.
