I wanted to love this. But, no. The lid does not stay on, so the cheese gets exposed to air. The whole top tends to pop off during use and is really, really hard to put back on. It is fairly large, so it's hard for smaller handed people to use. If you cut your cheese into 3/4 inch cubes and arrange them around the center stem and screw the top on carefully and don't worry about trying to use the last 1/2 inch or so of cheese, you'd probably be ok. And if you keep it standing upright in the door of your frig so the lid stays on. And if you have large hands. Yeah, this didn't really work for us. When it is actually grating cheese without the lid popping off, it is very nice grated cheese.

This is absolutely brilliant! I'd expected it to be a bit a a gimmick but it's well made, easy to fill and works perfectly. The threaded plate that pushes the cheese keeps perfect pace with the grater and it produces a large amount of grated cheese very quickly. It's so useful if the kids are being a bit moany about their food.

This would have said five stars a couple of weeks ago as was exactly what I was looking for, but the lid is now loos and i'm not convinced will last much longer. Shame as works really well.

Very well packed, prompt delivery, good quality product, works well without wastage of cheese, easy to clean and stores in fridge door when in use. Fantastic little product.

Novel item and well thought out! Yet to see how often have to clean it!

I saw these in a restaurant in Milan and immediately had a look to see if I could order one.They are very useful for keeping the cheese fresh in the fridge without the tedious wrapping/unwrapping and cleaning of the cheese grater.Easy enough to set up, grates the cheese easily.
