Good-lookin' pen
Parker Jotters have been around for as long as I can remember, and they've always been good pens. Not the fanciest, not too expensive, but well made, with a solid clicking mechanism. Much nicer than the cheap stick pens at the office. The coral color is rather neon -- not as subtle as on Amazon's product page. This is one of the 60th Anniversary edition pens, which I believe are a little bit shorter than the regular Jotter pens. Made in France.I also got one in Jade, which is quite pretty and a more conservative color. Both of them came with medium blue refills. I took another reviewer's advice and ordered Monteverde refills in blue/black--the ones made for Parker pens--in Super Broad. If you've only ever used the usual junk pens you can pick up anywhere, and don't want to spend an arm and a leg, let the Parker Jotter be your starter "good pen."

Great pen, great value, great piece of history.
The Jotter is a quintessential pen, particularly if you grew up in the UK, it's probably what got you through high school...I never knew that the design was over 50 years old, so when I saw the 60th Anniversary model, I just needed to get one for my pen box. There isn't that much to say about it, it works very very well. Has a great push button retractable mechanism, a robust clip that doesn't break too easily (though in high school, I often managed to snap one off while bored in math class...)With the Parker gel refills I think these write as well as anything out there (bearing in mind I have a pen collection that spans from conference giveaways to pens in excess of $500). It's also just an iconic piece of 20th century design.

This is the one
It's a little more fluorescent looking than in the pictures, but only a little! This Made in France Parker Jotter Special Edition 60th Anniversary pen is light, solid, and well made. Writing is smooth and the blue ink color is pleasing. This is the kind of pen that makes you want to find reasons to write things down. Though light in weight, it does not feel at all cheap. The light weight will keep your shirt pocket from sagging, which is a plus if you're like me and wear a pen in your pocket as a source of nerd pride :-D

Just what color is this pen???
Parker Jotters are 5-star pens. I have many. This one is no exception. BUT the color was described as “coral”, and I bought it to match a coral clutch. This pen is NOT coral. It is orange, bright orange, maybe even a pretty orange but, personally, I hate orange. If they’d described it as orange, I would not have purchased it. But it is still a terrific pen…just be certain that orange is what you are looking for, and not coral…my search continues.I noticed that a few reviewers had pens that leak. I’ve discovered that if these pens were stored upside down (colored-barrel-end up) they will begin to leak. Parker should inform their retailers to always keep them stored barrel-end down. Either contact the retailer or Parker for an exchange.

Nice retro, quality on cheaper side
This is nice pen. It feels very good in hand. Reminds me of Jotter's I grew up with. Now one star off for quality control. Beautiful Parker sign and France signs are almost indecipherable. This makes pen cheap looking. One on Amazon's site photograph has beautifully etched sign. The ink writes smooth; but: the old darker blue ink was much more superior than this one (in feel, in smooth writing and in more rich deep color). While it writes well, it also smudges sometimes. So star off for ink. It has nice gift box packaging. Overall it's a nice pen, but not the old fashion good Parker quality.

Same jotter, great colour
The Parker Jotter is unquestionably the best ballpoint pen in history. The colour of this pen doesn't actually affect that end of things—it doesn't improve on a $7 pen, but it does increase the price. But it's a beautiful colour. To borrow a phrase from Garrison Keillor: the colour almost hums.

Not in LOVE, but it's a very nice everyday pen
Not in LOVE, but it's a very nice everyday pen. It writes very well, and the color is actually very bright and attractive on the daylight, but if I'll loose it I don't think I will cry.

Very nice pen
I've always liked having a decent pen but never wanted to spend too much. This is a very nice pen for a fairly cheap price.
