### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works right out of the box, and seems to have flexibility to meet changing needs
*by T***K on September 17, 2019*

This is my first attempt at putting together a solar system. I have some off grid property that it would be too expensive to bring grid power to. I have a well on the property, and I put a Truhorse DC submersible pump in it. I ran the pump directly from two of my four 285 watt Trina solar panels, but decided it was time to move to a more flexible solution. After some research I picked the EPEVER MPPT Solar Charge Controller 60A. The open circuit amps on the Trina Panels is 12 amps or 4 * 12 gives 48 amps total so 60 amps should provide ample head room. I bought 6 AGM 12 volt 100 amp batteries wired in series and parallel to make a 24 volt system. Plugged i the EPEVER and solar panels to batteries and it just worked. I am now adding 2 more AGM 12 volt 100 amp hour batteries and rewiring it into a 48 volt system. The EPEver supports that as well with out changes.I have a lot to learn and I have not run the system I have put together has not passed the test of time, but at this time I have a very high opinion of the job that the EPEVER is doing for me.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wanted 100 amp model recieved 80 amp .
*by D***. on June 19, 2019*

It had some marks on the front cosmetic damage and a broken wire support bracket I super glued. I havent fully installed yet . But have a nice outside case for it will drill out vents and install a fan to run on temperature controlled relay board. Still working on this portable system. I moved the. Battery bank long ways instead of sideways. And 12v1410 AH bank. This mppt controller will Rock, I'm buying 1,200 watts 4 SLA300M panels 300 watt 32.8v . The box I installed this in has a inline blower 12v fan and temperature controlled relay board keeps box under 30c around 28c real good cooling system. I thought I ordered the 100 amp model but recieved 80 amp my 4 panels is under the 200v rating but 1,200 watts . I used 4 awg for 4 ft battery cables and 100 amp inline breaker on PV side and battery positive side. Hooks into my 1,000 amp pure copper bus bar.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value, solid product, recommended.

Using in a van.Four stars is only because this model has not yet lasted the 20 years that I expect it will. This model is dated. From my research there has been little or no improvement in the efficiency or precision in moving electrons. For LiFePO4 batteries you should use a USER setting, which entails entering several voltage setting for the various stages of charging. This is a once and done task, though I'd save the settings .That said, I've had the charge controller since January and installed since July (currently it is mid-Sept. '24). Both the monitor and contoller have worked fine since then.EDIT: I have deleted yesterday's comments about one screw not engaging when securing the MT-50 into its surface mount holder. The problem was me.
