Tasty, reliable heat!
Tasty -- and spicy, high heat. We like moderate heat, so just a little (teaspoon or tablespoon, depending on batch size. Have been using this for years, and it's been consistent, so easy to work with. Try adding to hummus w/sun-dried tomatoes!

Mina Harrisa
A new condiment for me but one that I have used in ways that may have never been intended. I enjoy Indian Curries and I added some Mina Harissa to it and the results were exciting and delicious. Since then I have kept a jar on hand to try with almost anything other than oatmeal. Below is a brief history and suggestions I've found online.Mina Harissa is a type of North African hot chili pepper paste that originates from Morocco. Harissa itself is a versatile and flavorful condiment widely used in North African and Middle Eastern cuisines.Origin and IngredientsHarissa is traditionally made from roasted red peppers, hot chili peppers, garlic, olive oil, and a variety of spices such as coriander seeds, caraway seeds, and cumin. Mina Harissa, in particular, is known for its rich, authentic flavor and high-quality ingredients. It can range in heat levels from mild to very hot.Uses in CookingMina Harissa can be used in numerous ways to enhance the flavor of various dishes:Marinades: Mix Mina Harissa with olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic to create a marinade for chicken, lamb, or fish.Sauces: Add a spoonful to soups, stews, or tagines for a spicy kick.Condiment: Use it as a condiment on sandwiches, burgers, or kebabs.Dips: Blend it with yogurt or mayonnaise to make a spicy dip for vegetables or pita bread.Seasoning: Stir it into couscous, rice, or roasted vegetables for added depth and heat.Health BenefitsHarissa is not only flavorful but also offers some health benefits due to its ingredients. Chili peppers are rich in vitamins A and C and have capsaicin, which is known for its anti-inflammatory and metabolism-boosting properties. Garlic and olive oil also contribute to the heart-healthy and anti-inflammatory qualities of the paste.Mina Harissa is celebrated for its authentic taste and quality, making it a great addition to any kitchen for those who enjoy bold and spicy flavors.

So flavorful
My all-time favorite South African sauce. I love how it adds a little heat without being to spicy to chicken and vegetable dishes. Worth the price for the quality and flavor.

Better Than Average Harissa
This harissa was tasty. I felt it still needed a bit more pizzazz, so I added ground cumin and aleppo pepper flakes to it when I made a chicken dish with preserved lemon and harissa. Like many jarred condiments, I add an extra bit of what I like to make it original. I have seen some recipes using harissa where it called for a tablespoon or so for a dish serving 4. That is not the case with this harissa (or any I have tried to date).

Lots of uses.
I was surprised at how versatile this is. Spread a thin coat on beef or chicken that is air-brining in the fridge. Add a spoonful to soup to wake it up or as a garnish on top (works especially well with butternut squash soup. Mix w/ mayo and a few drops of pickle juice for an awesome burger spread. Think up other uses yourself.I first bought this for a recipe and thought I'd have it left over forever. Nope. Next morning I put it on scrambled eggs. Wow! Try it on a taco. add a bit to Pizza sauce. Harissa is just a great adder to bring a little life to a dish. By now i sound like an ad, but for real, this stuff is useful.
