Paderno World Cuisine Stainless Steel 6 1/4 Inch Lid

Obviously made for constant pro kitchen use rather than display beauty, this heavy-gauge well-built lid is a perfect fit for the TFAL 12" pro skillet. The handle is a smoothly formed and finished strip of even heavier-gauge stainless steel strongly spot-welded to the lid; no screws to get loose, ever. When America's Test Kitchen recommended this lid, Paderno may not have expected the volume of orders that followed; it took weeks to arrive. Delivery should be better now. Costs almost as much as the pan it covers, flat worth it.

Perfect fit for t-fal 12.5 inch pan. The lid is domed and the handle is strong.The price is a bit high but this lid will outlive the pan and I will replace the pan many times over when the non stick wears off.

Purchased this based on the Cook's Illustrated review. Mine arrived scratched across the bottom and I'm currently speaking to the seller about this. However, the scratch may have been an accident and I doubt all lids arrive like this. What I'm really disappointed about is that the lid arrived rusted where the handles attach to the lid. The handle also seems cheaply attached.It fits my T-Fal 12.5 inch like a glove. It doesn't fit the All-Clad 12 inch perfectly, despite the Cook's Illustrated review. However, it's "good enough" for me. Really hoping I can get the rust off and keep it off, as I've been having trouble finding a lid to fit my T-Fal.

Fits perfectly. It’s amazing that a lid can cost more than the pan it covers ... but you need it. It’s worth it by the mess that is eliminated alone!

This is a solid lid made of stainless steel. It would complement a high end piece of cookware like an All Clad 14 inch Fry Pan. Although it has a satin finish and it is not polished like the rest of the Stainless Steel collection from All Clad, it is probably the best choice out there since for some reason I don't understand manufacturers forget to make lids for large pans. What's good about this lid is that it has a dome shape the it is pronounced and yet subtle. That shape is great because it allows food not to be pressed down into a shallow fry pan and let's the evaporation run down back into the pan to keep the food moist. Five stars hands down!

Website dimension description was not good. I ordered 3 before getting the right one. It is working great and it fits perfectly.

Nice lid but does not fit tight on the T-fal E93808 Professional Total Nonstick Thermo-Spot Heat Indicator Oven Safe Dishwasher Safe PFOA Free Cookware Fry Pan / Saute Pan, 12-Inch, Black. It's not an exact fit due to the handle on the pan. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it due to the price of the lid!

The quality of the lid can't compare to the AllClad pan it was purchased for. The interior edges are not smooth the lip on underside gives it a cheap look and feel. Very average at best.
