Review: SKIL 9295-01 6.0 Amp 4-1/2-Inch Angle Grinder - Works great - good price I now know why this angle grinder is so popular. This angle grinder works excellently. With a cutting disc it cut right thru thin gauge metal with ease. It feels solid as well, and tbh it is fairly light weight and easy to grip. Ive read some say the power button is a bit cumbersome but almost right away I got used to it and its benefit is that it is very easy to power off. So basically what I like about this SKIL angle grinder -relatively light weight -relatively easy to handle / grip -handle can be screwed (threaded) on either side and the top (3 positions to attach the handle) -the wrench for changing discs is conveniently incorporated into the handle -smooth engine / smooth sounding and "feeling" when in operation -tried and true many many people use this grinder and most give it a high rating -good price -overall works great -if it should matter it looks cool (opinion) I highly recommend this angle grinder. It is relatively low priced, it works well and it is very ergonomic with its handle being able to attach three different areas (right, left, top), girth not too wide to comfortably grip and (again) it is relatively light weight. Comfortable to use. Id also recommend some over the ear hearing protection / attenuation it is pretty loud over the ear type will make taking on and off very easy (Walkers NR34 right here on desertcart work well fyi). Good stuff right here from SKIL. Highly recommended.

A: Yes Sir.

**Q: Does it cut on a curve?**
A: It a good buy but you ask if it cut curve , first to make it clear the blade is 4.5" and is flat but if you angle it I would say yes it can. Cut curve.

**Q: Can I slow the 11,000 Rpm's by installing a "dimmer switch"?**
A: I have no idea about putting a dimmer switch on this tool .I don't think it would be a good idea to try it. It is made to run at the r p m .

As expected. For a home DIYer it’s well worth the money. I have had one, pretty much identical, for about 25 years. It is still going strong. Have replaced the cord once. I found myself in need of another side grinder I could dedicate to just cutting wheels. Sometimes you just need a bigger cutting wheel. Anyway received the new unit, fitted it with a cutting wheel, placed it in my DIY cutting tool and cut 25 conduit pipe ends from 1 1/2” conduit. It performed great. Now if you are a contractor you may need a little more umph. But for the home owner and DIYer, why pay more. Just make sure you have ear and eye protection.
