I had some other pouches before, one of which ruined a small tablet by leaking. This one is different, the way it's constructed there is no fold or other weird part that makes me worried that it will crack and leak, and the closure is so easy and secure that there's no mistake possible.I use the pouch 3x/week with a samsung s6. I t goes into the front pocket of my life jacket and I hope onto a surfski to out out onto the open ocean in waves. The pouch gets wet every time and often also goes for a swim with me. I do not dive with it, however. The magnetic closure means it just wants to close, no hassling with a zip-lock where after some struggle you're still not sure whether you got it 100%.The lanyard is long enough that you can have it around a ring on the life jacket and then still hold the phone far enough away so you can dial.
